So What If a Piece of the Antarctic Ice Shelf Breaks Off? - Associated Content
Predictably, all too predictably, the fear mongering critters who are shouting about climate change pounced on the reports of the breaking away of a sizeable piece of the ice shelf from the Antarctic during the final week of March 2008.

These fear mongering alarmist have, needless to say, completely ignored the fact that even with the breaking-off, the Antarctic ice shelf is still 50% larger than it was at this same time one year ago. The media messiah marionettes do not report on the volcanic and seismic activity that is part of the Antarctic region, either.
Carbon Dioxide Doesn't Have a Lot to Do with Climate Change or Warming - Associated Content
Yet another study conducted by atmospheric researchers within the last two years concludes that atmospheric CO2 plays at most only a minor role in climate change.

There are a number of salient points that the authors delineated in support of their conclusion, which they published in April of 2006.
Brave New World, Same Old Story - Associated Content
That first buyout by the first JP Morgan took place with JP Morgan's actual money, and in the golden days before the creation, just six years later no less, of the Federal Reserve. This time around, JP Morgan Chase acted in concert with the U.S. Treasury Department and, yes, it largely made use of the Federal Reserve's money.
The Al Gore Plague Resists All Science - Associated Content
Al Gore has come out of his hibernation from a long, cold, and abundantly snowy winter to say that he's put together a three-year, $300 million AGW advocacy campaign demanding that the U.S. reduce its greenhouse gas emissions.

The Alliance for Climate Protection's campaign, otherwise known as "We", is merging the activities of advertising, online organizing, strategic partnerships, and grass-roots groups to further indoctrinate the public about the dire consequences of AGW (man-made global warming) while pressuring political leaders to force private industry and individuals to do something to save us from ourselves.
Government Wants Us All to Be Victims - Associated Content
This year, like every election year, we here in the United States have been jack hammered by the howling shouts of the politicians up for re-election or promotion (as in, trying to get elected to the highest profile career on the face of the earth, President of the United States), the shouts that decry "inequality", the howls that call for yet another shakedown of the wealthy, who everyone knows or should know are filth and slime who swim in other people's money.
Subprime Troubles Become a Prime Power Grab - Associated Content
The government, under the aegis of a fake "Conservative" Executive administration, is seriously considering the nationalization of the United States' banking industry, which is a destructive Socialist move if ever there was one and would surely signal the strong possibility of the End of Days for the United States.
Scientists: "Carbon Emissions Reductions a Dumb Idea" - Associated Content
Even If Such Things Were Needed, They Would Never Work.
The Old New (Global) Warming Island in Greenland - Associated Content
The Old Gray Lady, over a year ago now, proved again that she possesses a never-ending litany of scary stories to tell Earth's naughty little children about the dangers of combustion engines and the shepherding of gaseous sheep.

If only we could continue to believe her just-so stories. If only we could just not let the facts get in the way of a good story.
Parapraxis (Or, Ted Turner's Tongue Slips Out) - Associated Content
Never mind that scientists like Freeman Dyson feel that the current global warming trend (which isn't even global and may have already halted or gone into reverse, among other complexities) could well be beneficial to human beings by engendering a somewhat warmer, wetter world with more arable land.

Federal Reserve Says Let's Go Living in the Past - Associated Content
"[The risks here] are modest in comparison to the substantial damage to the economy and economic well-being that potentially would have accompanied Bear's insolvency. It became clear that Bear's involvement in the complex and intricate web of relationships that characterize our financial system, at the point in time when markets were especially vulnerable, was such that a sudden failure would lead to a chaotic unwinding of positions in already damaged markets."
In Iraq, a Victory, by Any Other Name.. - Associated Content
A few days ago, the Jaish al-Mahdi militia of outlaw fighters who are loyal to Shi'a cleric Moqtada al-Sadr were forced to fall back and retreat from a six-day battle in Basra which the growing Iraqi national army launched against them to attempt to shake them out of entrenched positions (which, to a considerable, although not total, extent they succeeded in doing).

The Iraqis received only very limited assistance from United States forces, as U.S. commanders looked on to try and gauge how far along the rebuilding Iraqi military has come.

But of course, al-Sadr declared a victory.
Current Climate Change Curbing Concepts Just Too Costly - Associated Content
In spite of all its anti-pollution and carbon-emission reduction policies and regulations that are in place, the European Union's industrial "greenhouse gas" emissions rose by 1.1% last year, with the business sectors covered by Europe's Emission Trading Scheme increasing their carbon dioxide emissions rates to 1.914 billion metric tons last year.

The new statistics illustrate the great difficulty nations face in sharply reducing the emission of carbon dioxide and other "greenhouse gasses" in efforts to cause climate change to fade away.

Handwriting? We Don't Need No Reeking Handwriting - Associated Content
"My son, who is in third grade, spends much of his school day struggling to learn how to form the letter 'G.' Sometimes he writes it backwards."
AGW Alarmists Want to Instill a State of Fear - Associated Content
"You know, one of the things that I have attempted to shout from the mountaintops as often as I can is something I heard Michael Crichton say, and it's true. 'There can be no consensus in science.' Science does not allow consensus. You don't take a vote on what your scientific proposition is, and whatever the majority thinks ends up being called science. Global warming, the consensus of science? They essentially refute their own conclusion when they use the word 'consensus'."
Inappropriate Appropriations Characterize All Three Prez Hopefuls - Associated Content
To this writer, The Big Mac clearly has a better character, a superior resume, and a relatively larger measure of the quality that all three potential Presidents should have. What's more, he should have little difficulty winning at this point, given the revealed travesties that are the "characters" of his two potential adversaries (but please note my use of the word "should").

But he still falls far short of the mark.
Barry Obama Wishes He Could Get More Typical White People - Associated Content
"I didn't know they would say, 'We need a white person here. I understood they would want a show of diversity, but to pick up people and to reseat them, I didn't know it would be so outright."
Jim Hansen Insists Big Business to Blame for Alleged Warming Trend Crisis - Associated Content
"We've already reached the dangerous level of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere," says James Hansen, director of NASA's Goddard Institute for Space Studies in New York.

This "tipping point" is, according to Hansen, 385 parts per million of carbon dioxide in the upper atmosphere.

Besides not understanding economics, McCain doesn't understand that deliberately seeking out bi-partisan "solutions" is otherwise known as being "half-assed" (especially when your opposed partisan is the Democratic party, the symbol of which is the jackass).
Children in the Misinformation Age - Associated Content
Several localized news reports from all around the nation, and the world, have got me thinking about how kids may be "different" now than what they were even just twenty years ago.
Christian Meditation and Fantasy - Associated Content
One of the horrible tragedies of Christianity today is that so many Christians -- and so many pernicious, mean-spirited, smugly ignorant priests and preachers who are so proud to see everyone as "sinners" -- hold tight to a belief that mediation is some satanic or nonsensical Oriental practice.
