My Top Internet Gurus: Jeanette Cates

If you look at the most well known of the Internet Marketing gurus you'll notice very quickly that most of them are men. But there are a few top notch female gurus finding their way to the top of the pack, and one of the pioneer females in the field is Jeanette Cates.

Jeanette Cates bills herself as The Tech Tamer, which pretty much describes the reason she's in my Top Internet Gurus list (as well as explains this photo!).

She can take the most mind boggling technical subjects and explain them in such a way that the least technically savvy marketer (like me) can understand and follow the instructions.

I also very much enjoy Jeanette's communication style --- as a communication specialist, that's important to me. When you attend many of her teleseminars, you begin to feel as if you actually know her and she knows you. When you ask questions of some of the experts, they can make you feel a bit self-conscious. But not Jeanette Cates. Her way of answering suggests whatever you ask is the most natural question in the world and she is delighted to answer it for you. And when she's finished, you do understand.
