Introduction

Hi, my name is Joshua. I go to Marley Perkins Education for help with my writing. That's where I wrote this recount about my trip to Los Angeles.

My Trip To America

In the Term 3 holidays, my family and I went to Los Angeles by airplane. We needed rest from work and school.

We went on a 747. Even though it was big, the space was tight. When we got half way, I found a comedy movie called Get Smart. Then I found it difficult sleeping. I wanted to go in business class because you can lower your seat back. When I got to the airport I had extra lunch because of the time change.

We went on the fastest rollercoaster in Disneyland, in America. It was so fast that I could feel the breeze so strongly that my sweat flew away! I saw stars and asteroids. It was fun because it was so fast.

Next we went to California (the theme park). My mum and my sister went on the fastest roller coaster in California called California Screams. My mum said that she liked it but she didn't know why.

After that, we went on the Simpsons ride. When the ride was over, I wanted to do it again!

At Universal Studios, they had celebrated a horror movie that is adults only. I don't know the name. And they had weird costumes of the movie. They also had chainsaws to scare people!

One breakfast morning, I had pancakes for breakfast. I had maple syrup. Once I poured it, a fly came in and splattered on the maple syrup. It was stuck! I threw the pancakes in the bin. It happened every morning and that's why I am sick of pancakes.

My trip to America was fun except for the morning food.
