What are Lip Plumper's?
When you do a Google search for just lip plumper's there are 594,000 results. That is a lot, which tells me lip plumper's is on many women's mind. If you read my lens When does too much become an Addiction, you will see a section about lip plumper's. I have been a huge lip gloss fan most of my life and only hooked on lip plumper's in the past few years.
My intention here is to help with your research when searching for the best plumper. Not that my word would hold more power than the other 594,000 searches, but maybe I will be able to offer a little more insight as to what my thoughts are about certain lip plumper's.

Lip Cushion By: Pop
This chubby formula from Pop Beauty actually ADDS volume rather than making your lips swell like the usual lip plumpers on the market. Lip Cushion hugs lips adding extra cushions of volume to inflate lips making them look just lusciousI have been using this plumper/cushion for about 2 1/2 months. It is a really good lip conditioner and it does give your lips a cushioned effect. Unfortunately, I usually purchase it at Bath and Body and was just at their site and did not see it any longer. SO, I did a web search on it and found it at several other places. Thank Goodness!!

Lip Plumpers
My opinion only on Lip Plumper's
First I have to admit, that my word is not different then somebody else's. Reviews are people's thoughts about their own experiences using the product. One of the first things I look for in reviews is the age group. So my opinions here are based on the age group from 45-55.What do women in that age range look for? First, the older we get the thinner our lips seem to become. So we are looking for something that will enhance the feature of our lips so they will look fuller, smoother and younger.
How do lip plumper's work? I have noticed that most of the ingredients in lip plumper's contain natural or chemical irritants that slightly sting your lips. This causes the lips to fill more with blood and they slightly become swollen or puffy. That sounds a little scary but it shouldn't. Some of the ingredients that cause this effect are: menthol or camphor and cinnamon. I will try to list more ingredients as we go along. I did find one Lip Plumper that I am going to write about but have NOT tried (yet) called City Lips that does not cause a stinging effect. But to be very honest, I really like the stinging feelings on my lips. In my opinion it just makes your mouth feel fresher-If that makes sense?
Most lip plumper's only plump your lips temporality you will have to apply it several times a day depending on how much you lick your lips. Again, though the one lip plumper that said it will add plump to your lips on a permanent base is the City Lips. That is using it continuously over a certain period of time.

So here is a little information I found to be interesting...
I am going to list a few links and lip plumper's I have tried and plan on trying and give my opinion on them. I hope this helps in some way if you are searching for the perfect lip plumper.Bare Escentuals Buxom Lips: Since I am a huge fan of Bare Escentuals Mineral Makeup, when I purchased this lip plumper I thought it would be great! As far as this lip product being a good product, it is! It leaves your lip soft, it tingles them, and it really is a good product. But as a lip plumper, it is not one that I would suggest. For my lips I did not get good results at all as far as plumping. None the less, it is a very good lip gloss. The cheapest I have found it is $18.00 from Buxom Lips at Sephora
No Injection Lip Plumper: I really like this lip plumper a lot! I found it on sale at Bath and Body Works on line. It not only has a great tingling effect, it does a very good job plumping your lips. When I purchased it for the first time, it was buy one get one free. It has a brush applicator with a small amount of sparkle. To read more about it Clear Fastscription Patricia Wexler M.D. Dermatology is the one who created this. At Bath and Body the cost is $17.50 A little goes a long way.
VolumeXLSeduction Lip Plumper: By-Maybelline I will be very honest I like this one a lot. It plumps your lips fairly well, but I have to keep replying it. It is not real expensive, HOWEVER I can tell you that the tubes are not completely filled but a tube does not last me at all. It is has a click button that releasing a small amount from the end. Although, I wear this a lot, It still does not last half as well as the others I use. Plus, and maybe it is just me, after wearing it for it awhile, I have noticed that my lips begin to get dry and peel? You can purchase it at your local drug store and online. A good site online is: Maybelline Volume XL and it cost $7.09 which is cheaper than your local drug store which usually cost $9.99.
Sally Hanson Lip Inflations: This is the least expensive of the lip plumper I have mentioned. I believe it was around $6.00-$8.00 if I am not mistaken. It works okay. I actually wear this lip plumper over Maybelline Volume XL and get really good results. You can read more about this lip plumper at: Sally Hansen-Lip Inflation
I know that most of us would love to have lips as beautiful as Angelina Jolie but I do enjoy seeing how enhanced I can make my own lips. What are about you?
These are the lip plumpers I currently use
City Lips Lip Plumper
City Lips Lip Plumper is more of a Collagen-Peptide Lip Plumping Treatment. It does not sting your lips but over times helps to become fuller. After doing A LOT of research online, I found this product at such a good price Bridgette's Boutigue
This product usually cost $25-30 dollars and this site is selling it for $16.00!!!

My City Lips Review
I suppose to date if I had to choose which lip plumper was my favorite at the moment, it would be: FastscriptionTM Advanced No-Injection Lip Plumper. I say that because I keep going back to using it. I purchased several tubes when Bath and Body Works had them on sale. So I am trying not to use them all up, but on the other hand of all of the lip plumpers I have used, this one does not feel sticky, it does not dry out my lips and the effects last longer.
At the moment, I noticed Bath and Body was out of stock. So I went search and found a couple of interesting sites that sells this product at a pretty good price: Champagne Color and also Amazon Amazon has it the cheapest, $11.95 plus $3.95 shipping. Usually it sells for $17.50 plus shipping and handling.
If you try it, please come back and leave your review. I honestly believe reviews helps others for a few different reasons.

- Gosh! I didn't know that you were into lip plumpers too? Interesting aren't they -- personally I was talking with my dentist one week ago as he was numbing up my mouth to remove the huge cracked crown -- "can ya add a little plumpness to my lips?" I asked him. "...you know, since you're already working in there and I'm numb?" So, long story short! He said well, yes he COULD. Hmmm! Perhaps I will be writing volume II to my lip plumpers lens to share that experience with everybody. What about you? Would you? Did you know the dentist was "involved" with lip plumpers too?

- No, I did not know dentist was involved with lip plumpers. Interesting. I just know I love my lip plumpers and will be updating this lens with more information I have learnt from my own experiences. Thanks for your comment.
