Hurricane Season 2010 - Lessons Learned from Previous Years

We live in Florida, on the East Coast 2004 was a brutal hurricane season for us. Hurricane Frances, Hurricane Jeanne, and 2 tropical storms have severely damaged my roof. FEMA was a joke and we have no insurance, so its all up to us and we're on a fixed income! We've tried to do what we can, but it falls sadly too short.

Don't end up like us with a leaking, collapsing roof. Prepare your home, insurance, and backup plans before the storms hit.

Looking back on the 2004 Hurricane Season

It beat the tar out of us!

The 2004 hurricane season was one of the most active, violent and costliest in documented history. In just two months, the state of Florida was battered by a record-breaking 4 hurricanes, the effects of which were felt throughout Florida and along the entire Eastern United States.
