My Experience with NAET - Natural Allergy Treatment

When we first heard of NAET allergy treatment we thought it was a bunch of crap. To be honest I am not a science person and modern medicine doesn't make too much sense to me either. However, we are often blinded by the words "science" or "traditional" and wrinkle our nose when we hear "alternative medicine" (It is probably another scam - many people think)

Well, we wrinkled our skeptical noses as well, but at the same time we were so desperate to help our 6 month-old baby that we decided to give NAET a shot. Especially because our acquaintances swore it helped their child.

I am not going to bore you with details. If you are interested I wrote 4 long blog posts on how NAET helped us. I just want to tell you that NAET is amazing.

Traditional doctors told me that Aidan (our son) will not outgrow of his allergies soon, because his IGE (or whatever) levels were extremely high. We were so frustrated, because he couldn't eat anything and at the same time was still suffering from eczema.

I was nursing him, so it meant that I could barely eat anything as well.

Traditional doctors kept prescribing cortisone (higher and higher dosages) and told me not to worry, because when he is older, they could give him shots (how comforting!). They also told me not to "torture" myself, stop breastfeeding and switch him to hypoallergenic formula. I didn't mind the "torture", so I kept nursing him. Since he couldn't eat much, I was hoping that at least with my breast milk he will get enough antioxidants and vitamins to boost his immunity system.

Well, anyway, NAET practitioner (who was also a chiropractor) didn't care what the traditional doctors said. He treated my boy for most of his allergies by the time he was 1!!!

Traditional doctors still don't believe in NAET, but at the same time they still can't explain why my son is healed.:-)

I don't know why people (including us awhile ago) blindly believe everything traditional medicine claims and are so scared of alternative treatments. Eastern and Chinese medicine helps billions people. Why Western medicine keeps denying it?
