Nairobi Eastlands Support Centre (NESC)

This lens is to publicize our effort in trying to establish a Health Centre in Nairobi, Kenya. We are a village within NABUUR.

Update News: (2/28/2007) 

The ChipIn fundraising is closed. Thanks to all those that contributed.

Even though we did not achieve the desired target amount, we did achieve our goals. We have received a donation of a used PC from ServanTek.

The funds we did raise will help pay for internet connection for our local representitive in Nairobi.  

Our project so far... 

Some progress in our effort to build a Health Centre in Nairobi Easlands. The project estimates an initial cost of $1.2 Million USD and an expected opening in June of 2008.

  • A Constitution drafted.
  • A detail budget plan drafted.
  • Our next big step is to approach various organization for funding...
