- This is an absolutely fantastic lens! Even though I've never participated in the event, perhaps it should now be called: INoWriMo? I write every day, anyway, and have already put up the first novel of my fantasy series on Amazon. I'm hard at work on number 2, so the idea of writing a novel in a month--while a very glorious and attainable goal--doesn't hold my fascination as much as finishing my 30-book series. Don't get me wrong! I APPLAUD EVERYONE who finishes a ms in 30 days! THAT is no small feat! Again, bravo on a lens that packs an AMAZING amount of information! I commend you with all my heart!

- I never heard of nanowrimo and I'm very interested in writing for it. The trouble is that I use a public library computer so time is limiting. But who knows I might just be able to do it! I'm so glad you have a lens about it-I also write for squidoo.com and branching out to be a fiction writer.

- My niece told me about nanowrimo a couple of years back. While I don't have the patience to write a novel, the tips provided by you are really useful. Thanx for sharing.

- Excellent lens Marelisa! I write more non-fiction (memoir & personal essay) but one of the rules they always tell memoirist - "Your story should read like fiction". So I read a lot of how to's in the fiction category too. "The First Five Pages by Noah Lukeman and "Hooked by Les Edgarton are two of my faves! Congratulations! 2 in 2 days!
