welcome to my new blog
Hi,
I am a 25 year old girl, originally from Holland, who will begin writing on a blog. All others I know have a blog. The next question I asked myself was - what should blog about. The obvious answer is for me and my life. Would anyone be interested to hear how a girl in City of Birmingham, who is crazy about football, they have their day?
It should not just be about me and my family and friends but also some tips and tricks about the economy - personal finance. This topic is dear to my heart. It is an important area although many think it is a sad one. To have good control of their finances and know how best to change it for the better is important.
You might wonder why I have a burning interest in money. It can certainly be traced back to my childhood. If Freud wants to be in a small one. When I was growing up we would not have so much money in the family. We were not very poor but it was still so we had to twist and turn on the hoses. Borrowing the money was a solution that turned out was not a solution in the end. The loans to be repaid sooner or later. And to get a loan to cover the loan is not a good solution. So when I grew up I started to interest me for the money part not loan :) Not that it went out of control and that everything revolves around money. But this is the only so that I try to maintain a stable economy without trying to lend me for my consumption.
Society in today, I see a strong trend that I do not like. Where we consumers are expected to borrow for consumption. In the past, loan were targeted to gain access to houses and cars. Now will not halt here. To borrow money for consumption is as natural as going to the ATM. Naturally, this is not in the long run. They've taken a loan, or too many small loans and thus ended up with the the enforcement officer. According to past experience, it is not sustainable. And now there are even television programs are aimed at families who have put themselves in debt. This type of television programming is terrible. It is not enough pain to having to realize that money is not there. To also show it on national television is probably not very fun. And what bothers me most is that there are children who may be included in the box in these less flattering situations. It cannot be good.
But more on that later now I'm out in the sun have a good time :)
