Why It's Perfect for Your Baby

A comfortable place for baby to sit, nap, and be happy!

Generation 2 Nap Nanny Portable Recliner
(confetti Blue)

Ok, so as a new mom I have to admit there are a lot of products that I thought would be helpful, and products that I wasn't sure about and have turned out to be amazing!!!! The Nap Nanny is one of those products.

When my daughter was born I didn't even know this product existed. It wasn't until I started looking for a second bouncer/chair that I came across it. I was hesitant at first. Sure, it's a bit pricey and some of the reviews were not very promising (it's important to note there aren't a lot of reviews in number, but I'd still give this product a try). But in the end I decided to take the leap and give it a try. My only regret is not having the chair as soon as we came home from the hospital!! I'd say she likes it even more than sleeping in her own crib sometimes.

The Nap Nanny recliner to the right is one of the many designs they have available.

Precautions before using - keep baby safe (and Nap Nanny out of the crib)

Generation 2 Nap Nanny Minky Sage Portable Recliner

This chair has been a true lifesaver! Not only is it a great place for my daughter to lounge but it is a product that she is safe in. Yes, there has been a couple of incidents with the Nap Nanny, but you have to use common sense. Please read about the Nap Nanny recall before purchasing to decide for yourself if this is right for you.

These chairs are not meant to be placed in a crib - they should only be used on the ground. You should not use your Nap Nanny on a couch or raised surface. You should also never try to carry it while your baby is in it. It should remain stationary on the floor at all times when baby is in it. If you follow that simple rule, you should be fine!

What to Use Nap Nanny For

Perfect for naps, Baby Einstein, lounging, feeding, and for babies with acid reflux

Nap Nanny Infant Recliner
Safari Giraffe

When my daughter was younger it was a great place to put her where I could strap her in and have her take a little nap. She loved the chair because it was so comfortable! The raised edges keep your baby contained on the chair, along with the harness to strap them in. The covering on the chair is very soft, almost like microfiber. If you have an incident on the chair such as the baby getting sick, a leaky diaper, etc. you just have to zip off the cover and throw it into the wash! They also sell spare covers in case you would like to have one on hand.

The chair comes in multiple colors, like the cute giraffe print to the right. A spare cover is a great way to change the look of your chair! This chair is great for babies that have acid reflux as it will keep them position upright to reduce the issues they may be experiencing.

Nap Nanny vs. Bouncer Chair

Why this chair makes sense over the longer term

Nap Nanny N1000PINKKT Pink with Chocolate Travel Bag

Now that my daughter is no longer a newborn she likes to sit in her chair to watch her favorite movies, play with her toys and will also still nap in the chair as well. Based on reviews I noted that the chair can be used up to a toddler, and I will definitely be using it as long as I can. Another great benefit to this chair is that unlike the bouncer chairs, it retains its support of your baby. Now that she is 20 lbs+ when she goes into the bouncer it slowly will sink to floor. This chair is still perfectly supporting her!

Also, if you look around, it's hard to find any sort of transitional chair between being a baby and toddler. The Nap Nanny seems to fill that void perfectly. The chair to the right comes with a travel bag, which is a great idea when on the go. We've traveled on several occasions and could use one of these bags to cover it up and keep it clean!

My Take on Nap Nanny

Would I recommend it to other parents?

Generation 2 Nap Nanny Minky Blue

This is a product that I would highly recommend. It is very portable - you can take it with you on vacation or just when visiting friends or family. It also serves as a portable high chair for us. I am able to feed her in this chair without having to fold up and carry our full size high chair. The soft flexibility of the chair makes it easy to fit in any car.
