The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe started a family tradition for of treating our children to a family movie in the theater at Christmas time. This year, 2010, our family movie will be The Voyage of the Dawn Treader. I went looking for some action figures for The Voyage of the Dawn Treader and unfortunately, I had trouble finding them. There are still quite of few toys for Narnia, but I didn't see Dawn Treader one. I hope they come out with some. This page has a selection of Narnia toys to choose from.

The Voyage of the Dawn Treader Update
My family went to see The Voyage of the Dawn Treader last weekend. We loved it! I'll have to admit, it has been years since I read the book, so I really don't remember the story well. I know some people were disappointed that it didn't follow the book better. Since it has been so long for me, that really wasn't a problem. My little guy who is age 8 did get a bit scared during the movie, but nothing that snuggling with mommy didn't help. Even though he got scared, he loved it and is asking us to buy the story book for him. We saw the movie in 3D. I am not really a fan of 3D movies, but I do think it added to the feel of the movie. I do not regret seeing it in 3D and would do it over again.

- Good lens, but when it comes to my favorite movie, I haven't seen them all, but I am disappointed that they left out the first book, The Magicians Nephew, which is Genesis. I hope they go back and make it.
