With the economy being on such a slippery slope, everyone is looking for free stuff. So I have taken on the challenge to find NASCAR gear, collectibles and paraphernalia that can be had for free or for close to nothing.

I found an offer from Van Camps Pork and Beans for free NASCAR gear, but the offer expired on Dec. 31st '08! I saw the can early December--too late to start collecting labels! This is why I need your help to find free NASCAR stuff.

There are several writers of fiction who have NASCAR themed novels. Author Sharyn McCrumb has written two, St. Dale being one I highly recommend!
Janet Evanovich is another. Her "Alex Barnaby" series begins with the book Metro Girl. It is kind of like Stephanie Plum meets NASCAR . Yes, there is a crime involved.
