After going to an actual NASCAR event, I always feel like I left the track with special memories of that race. That's why all my NASCAR buddies and I own NASCAR diecast models.

Nothing seems to bring back those "good times" quicker than one of our NASCAR diecast models. We just love sharing them with family and friends.

This Brought Tears To My Eyes

A few years back, a neighbor of mine did something that got an unexpected reaction. And we loved every minute of it.

Like all six year old boys, my neighbor's son anxiously awaited his 7th birthday. Ever since little Craig was a baby, his parents took him to NASCAR races. He loved every minute of every race.

On the morning of Craig's birthday, my neighbors gently place a very special gift at the foot of Craig's bed. All wrapped in bright "Happy Birthday" paper was the NASCAR diecast gift that would bring tears to all our eyes.

A NASCAR Diecast Birthday Surprise

As Craig awoke and saw us standing by his bed, we all yelled "Happy Birthday". And faster then we could say, "gentlemen, start your engines", Craig was ripping the paper off his birthday present.

At that exact moment, Craig's eye filled with tears as he saw for the first time, his very own Dale Earnhardt, Jr. bright red car #8 that was used in the 2005 Nextel Cup Richmond Race.

This NASCAR diecast car was personally autographed by Dale Earnhardt, Jr. himself.

This little boy's joy brought tear to all our eyes.

Listen, I promise not tell a soul.
