Natalie Coughlin - U.S. Olympic Team Swimmer

Natalie Coughlin is heading to the Beijing Olympics after breaking the World Record in the 100m Backstroke in the 2008 U.S. Olympic Team Trials - Swimming. Natalie Coughlin of California Aquatics treated the crowd of 12,559 at the Qwest Center Omaha to a fantastic world record in the women's 100m back, turning in a time of 58.97. In setting her world record, Coughlin became the first woman to swim the 100m back in under 59 seconds. She has held the world record in this event since August of 2002, when she became the first woman to break the one-minute barrier.

Natalie Coughlin at a Glance 

Natalie Anne Coughlin (born August 23, 1982) is an American swimmer who has represented the United States at the 2004 and the 2008 Olympics. At the 2008 Olympics, she became the first American female athlete in modern Olympic history to win six medals in one Olympics and the first woman ever to win a 100 m backstroke gold in two consecutive Olympics. She is known for her dominance in a short course pool and for her underwater kicking ability. She currently holds World, American and US Open records in various events and has eleven Olympic medals.

    I have your book it is sooo good I hope to meet you so you can teach me some of your backstroke moves because that is my favorite stroke as well
