Thinking back to my youth, it is Natalie Wood that is definitely my favorite actress from that time. The picture of hers that stands out as memorable annual favorite is Miracle on 34th Street. I can watch that film every year!
Did you know that she was only 5'0"? I had no idea she was so short.
Did you know it has been reported that she frequently dated singer Elvis Presley and actors Raymond Burr, Dennis Hopper, Warren Beatty, Nick Adams, Tab Hunter, Michael Caine and Scott Marlowe.
A very sad day indeed was November 29, 1981, at the age of ONLY forty-three, Wood drowned while her and Wagner's yacht The Splendor was anchored near Catalina Island. Los Angeles County coroner Thomas Noguchi's investigation resulted in an official verdict of accidental drowning, although speculation about the circumstances continues even today!

His final contribution before leaving the film was to write out the staging for the rumble.
