Burdened by Debt?
Millions of individuals struggle with debt that is out of control. From credit card bills and student loans to medical costs and more - it can really feel like the weight of the world is on your shoulders. This is one of the reasons President Barack Obama has created a national debt relief program designed to help individuals pay off their debts and get rid of the stress related to having that much debt.

The National Debt Relief Program
The program is really helpful for individuals, allowing them to get out from under the pile of debt they carry. The plan is actually a collection of programs and opportunities for qualified individuals to receive money they need to pay off those debts. One option comes in the form of grants, which certain people can apply for. There is a software program available that helps individuals create a proposal for the grants, and depending upon your financial needs, your amount of debt, and other details of your life - you may qualify to receive a grant.Photo:djcodrin
Some programs simply allow individuals to be relieved of a percentage of their debt. The first step is to apply for these programs with a debt relief firm or company. After filling out an application, you can determine whether you're able to receive help from the national debt relief plan or not. In addition, you'll find out how much you'll be able to save and how much debt relief you'll experience. If you have a great deal of medical bills or student loans that you're having a difficult time paying, you might be a great candidate for the national debt relief plan.Photo:Michelle Meiklejohn
Who Can Benefit?
If you have legitimate reasons for accumulating so much debt, such as divorce, medical conditions, etc, you may be able to receive help. The national debt relief plan also helps small businesses that are wading in debt. If you've been considering bankruptcy because you just don't know what to do about your debt, you should reconsider and apply for help through the national debt relief plan. Bankruptcy stays on an individual's credit report for many years, making it very difficult to receive any kind of financial help or lending. However, receiving help through Obama's plan will help you relieve your debt without the ball and chain that bankruptcy can become.Salvatore Vuono
Consider the kind of debt you have, as well as the monthly income you have coming in, and perform some research regarding the plan. This will help you determine whether you'll qualify for help or not.Photo:Salvatore Vuono
