Why I Love National Treasure 2 Book Of Secrets in 100 Words or Less

National Treasure: Book of Secrets [Theatrical Release]

Amazon Price: (as of 07/09/2008)

I love American History and puzzles, and this seamlessly blends them together with a bit of Hollywood magic to tell an amazing story of a Treasure Hunt that spans the globe. Ben's off the wall approach to puzzle solving involves getting translations from police officers and kidnapping the President of the United States!

Go ahead, disagree. I dare you.

National Treasure 2 Book Of Secrets is the best movie ever.

National Treasure 2 Book Of Secrets IS the best.

jdnyc says:

Well... "best movie ever" might be a stretch, but it was certainly enjoyable! An interesting story and some clever ideas, and I liked that there was enough action to give the film a 'faster' feel than the first one.

forthofer says:

What a great sequel! Kept me on the edge of my seat the whole time! The ending was not as dramatic as I expected, but still loved it. Nothing quite like a treasure hunt.

AnnsHomeDecor says:

Awesome Movie. Just as good as the first one. Also gave me the impression there will be a third National Treasure possibly about Page 47.

katiyana says:

I loved this movie just as much as the first one, it had the extra plot twist of a romantic relationship between Ben and Abigail, and the tension that created added to the mix. I love the mix of action, riddles, history, and humor. If only Riley would have had more one-liners like he did in the first one, this would have been perfect!

Wrong! It's the worst!

smallfishbigmoney says:

National Treasure 2 was not complete, it lacked depth, it lacked power and it lacked cohesion. Too much action and too little story was the point I got, the first one had a much more developed storyline which was exciting to follow, this one seemed to have a storyline and flow much too similar to that of the first, but it was less successful in achieving a formidable end result. I give National Treasure 2: Book of Secrets a reasonable 3.5/5. Not Bad Overall.

Showdown!

Should anyone include kidnapping the President of the United States as part of a movie in a post 9/11 world?

Of course, it's just a movie!

Of course not, it's so unrealistic it blows the story apart!

GypsyPirate says:

I don't think a kidnapping should be included - not because it might be unrealistic, but it makes me uncomfortable to see in today's world.
