Natural Born Killers Soundtrack

This movie has been one of my favorite movies for a long time. When I went to see this movie with my sister at the theater, I didn't know what to expect. I had not seen any previews or heard of it at all at that time. I loved the all-star cast, which includes some of my favorite actors like Robert Downey, Jr., Juliette Lewis, Woody Harrelson, and Tom Sizemore. The quirky-ness and macabre humor is so out there that it was instantly and obviously meant to be a comedic spoof on how the media glamorizes infamous social figures.

When I bought the soundtrack, I was even more impressed. The songs and sound bites flow in line with the movie. Oliver Stone couldn't have made a better choice for the producer of the NATURAL BORN KILLERS soundtrack than Trent Reznor, alternative music's maverick and Nine Inch Nails' frontman.

As a soundtrack, Reznor's use of dialogue from the script is scarily on-target. Telling moments between characters convey as much as the songs. The NATURAL BORN KILLERS soundtrack is a fierce take on social commentary, and one of the most revealing soundtracks of that year.

We loved this movie so much that we dressed up as Mickey and Mallory Know for Halloween that year and went all out from the snake marriage rings to the fake tattoos, blonde wig, and red sunglasses. It was a blast!
