A natural cure for arthritis means a cure which does not involve the taking of prescription drugs.
Anything taken directly from nature without altering it or adding to it is a natural product.

And as far as the word cure is concerned.....well it might mean different things to different people. There will be people that consider themselves cured when the pain goes away by taking pain medications. Others don't consider themselves cured till they do not need to take painkiller anymore.

...in the meanwhile

Natural cure for arthritis refers to an arthritis cure without using prescription drugs.

Most people assume a natural product is a product without any chemicals in it. Well, I do have a surprise:

According to Wikipedia a natural product is a chemical compound or substance produced by a living organism - found in nature that usually has a pharmacological or biological activity for use in pharmaceutical drug discovery and.drug design.

Everything is based on chemistry. A natural product, even though it is based on chemistry, is a product without harmful or non essential chemicals added. A natural product comes from a living organism, which could be from plant or animal.

Natural Cure for Arthritis...Maybe?

An interesting marine product is now on the market. The product is derived from a mussel, found off the coast of New Zealand.

The Maori people who live in that area regularly eat this mussel because to them it's a delicacy. The elderly people in the tribe do not seem to be affected by arthritis. As a matter of fact they go out with the younger generation and gather these mussels. They need to climb over the coastal rocks to get at these mussels.
None of the elderly people seem to have a sign of stiff joints or pain..

Obviously whatever is in their diet must be preventing the development of arthritis.

Studies were done and this mussel was analyzed. The fatty acids were extremely anti inflammatory. It had many health benefits and one of them was the prevention of developing arthritis.

Natural Cure for Arthritis. What do we expect?

What does a natural cure for arthritis constitute?

Is a true cure for arthritis even possible? Arthritis develops after the cartilage in our joint or joints has worn down to a point where it no longer protects the end of the joint bones. They cannot slide over each other smoothly anymore.

Cartilage acts as a sort of cushion letting the bones slide over each other smoothly, without grating . Once the cartilage is damaged or gone it cannot be replaced. The bones will rub together, the surface gets rough and inflammation will result.

At one time it was thought that Glucosamine and Chondroitin could restore the cartilage. But that seems not to be the case. You cannot rebuild something that's not there anymore. Taking these two supplements together can relief the pain.

It's my understanding that if you start taking Glucosamine/Chondroitin early on, before the cartilage has worn down too much it might still be possible to rebuild it.
That does make sense to me because there would still be a base to build upon.

So, what is a cure? To some people a cure would constitute being pain free even when it means taking medication. It's very hard to find medication that takes the pain away completely. And to many people finding a Natural cure for arthritis that would take the pain away would constitute a cure.

To other people a cure means to be pain free without having to take any painkillers. It would mean no stiffness in the joint(s) anymore.

But maybe we can find a way to prevent getting arthritis. And it appears there is

It is derved from a mussel that is found off the coast of Australia. The green mussel or rather the green-lipped mussel
The fatty acids in that mussel are highly anti inflammatory affect arthritis pain very positively.

Living with arthritis can be very debilitating. Not being able to do the activities you liked before and living with constant pain leads to dramatic changes in lifestyle. Relieving pain with the help of natural remedy might consist the solution for so many people, since the alternative way is painful surgery with very long recovery time. I would not suggest this path to everyone, especially when you hear about so many hip implant recalls.
Going the natural way is going to be the best solution.
I appreciate your lens for pointing out a successful alternative and natural solution for beating arthritis pain. You got my thumbs up.
