Traditional kitchen remedies for high cholesterol
Oatmeal can reduce cholesterol levels because it is a soluble fiber which has the ability to absorb cholesterol within it. Oatmeal actually traps the cholesterol within it thus prevents it from absorbing into the body. The trapped cholesterol is then safely transported out of the body with the next bowel movement.
One large egg can contain your entire allotment of one days cholesterol, so skip the standard nasty cholesterol laden breakfast, and have oatmeal in the morning instead. Keeping your cholesterol levels in check can be as simple as having a nice hot bowl of oatmeal for breakfast each morning. Now how nice is that...

We are human, and being human means that every now and then we are going to produce a little air within us that sooner or later, is going to have to be released. Flatulence occurs and it is something that we shouldn't have to feel ashamed of.

Cooking times...

Have you found yourself confused on the cooking time for roast pork, beef, turkey, chicken, ham, or lamb? These meats usually do not come with directions on the package for their preparation so knowing how to prepare each cut of meat can be a bit of a mystery.
Ovens also often vary in temperature by a few degrees, but that is okay, a few minutes off in either direction will usually not harm your meat preparation too greatly. - Definite angel blessing on this one. :) I love it when people share their own story. I am very intrigued by the idea that your immune illness is actually a result of your body fighting off cancer. I am a survivor of cancer, and I also have had serious, serious allergies at times. It is like my body got into a state of fighting off cancer, until it was too tired and finally gave in. But then - I have beat it! It is strange, sometimes when we have chronic illness we begin to think of our bodies as enemies, in fact it seems that the body is working as hard as it can to heal us. Oh, did I already say Angel Blessed!

- I do not use a neti pot. I simply dip a small amount of warm salt water into my nose cavity with my fingers and then sniff it into my sinuses. This works just as well for me. I do this two to three times a day as well as gargle with salt water when I am ill. It seems to really help.

- I am a full believer that diet can cause or cure all ailments. A friend who had severe arthritis removed all corn from his diet in all forms and now his arthritis is 100% gone as a result. Since meat/dairy products are the only food sources that have bad cholesterol, its wise to remove that from the diet if you truly want to lower cholesterol. There is no reason anyone should need drugs for that at all in my opinion. oatmeal and walnut (which is one of my favorite breakfasts) is a great idea too! Thanks for putting this stuff out there :)
