Natural Scar Removal Methods that Work!

If you've been trying to find a way to naturally remove an ugly scar, you've probably realized there are several household / grocery items which allegedly attend to this purpose. The following list attempts to demystify such methods:

Mederma (onion extract) - doesn't work. Some Internet websites sell mederma extracts claiming it's a miracle scar removal product. Well, such thing hasn't been proven in any human medical study, and this kind of product could very well be labeled as "snake oil extract"

Vitamin E - does not work. Many websites advise you to get Vitamin E capsules and smear them in your scar tissue, claiming that will help your skin heal. Not only it won't do such a thing, but it's prone to causing contact dermatitis in many people.

Pure Aloe Vera does work. The Aloe Vera cactus is renowned for its regenerative properties, and it's used as a one-in-all natural medicine. Using Aloe Vera in your scars does promote for healing over time... although it's not the best method available for this specific purpose.

Lemon Juice does work. I've seen websites claiming that lemon juice can be used to remove scars because it's like a natural bleach. Well, that's a simplistic way of putting it, but lemon juice does help removing scars; however you should be cautious using this method since lemon contains citric acid which may damage your skin over time.
