... and created a website with no "techie" experience amongst them.

Greetings! Welcome to the Squidoo Lens for the Feierabend Organic Skin Care Shop. We are located in beautiful Pleasant Valley, in the wine country foothills of northern California. We are a small team of four partners with no employees.

Before venturing into the Organic Skin Care business, the four of us were all self employed as Personal Fitness Trainers. It's a great career - but we began to realize that while we were helping our clients live better lives, our own lives were consumed by the time we were putting into our profession (sound familiar?)

One evening, the four of us were brainstorming various ways that we could increase our revenues. However, after a while it became apparent that there was one main limiting factor to every idea we came up with - lack of time. It was at that point that we all realized we needed to shift our focus from our current careers and explore a radical new career path - one that would generate income 24/7.

The analogy that really made sense with us was the correlation between the human metabolism (the rate at which one burns calories) and generating revenue. As trainers, one of our main goals is to help raise the metabolisms of our clients - not just when they are exercising, but ALL the time - so that they are burning calories while they're at work, relaxing at home and even while they are sleeping.

That's the kind of revenue generation we wanted to create - the ever elusive "residual" income that doesn't stop when we stop working for the day.

Easier said than done, right? Well, that's what we thought too. That is until we found out about the "secret weapon" that a very few, savvy individuals were using to achieve the financial freedom that we all desire! Read on.

Work, Sleep, Pay Bills, Arrrhhhggg!!! There has to be a better way!

Don't get us wrong - we loved training. Unfortunately, there was no time for anything else. Freedom, adventure, new experiences - life was passing us by while we were busy paying the bills.

As trainers, we were in the business of helping others set goals. It was time for us to set some new goals of our own: "We will find a new career that makes us happily jump out of bed in the morning, that pays the bills AND that allows us the FREEDOM to do whatever WE want for at least 6 months of the year. We will also find something that we will still be happy doing in twenty years time."

Sound unrealistic? I assure you, it's not. If we learned one thing as trainers it's that nothing is impossible! Think about your life. What is it that you really want from it? And turn off the little voice that keeps saying, "It can't be done." Because it can.

...is so simple, I wonder why it took us so many years to find it: Make a career out of doing what you love! We thought that was what we were doing. We were close - but we were going about it the wrong way. We've now found the "right" way. Anyone can live the life of their dreams. That includes you, too. Here's how we did it.

Our passion is anything healthy, but you can apply what we are doing to any passion, hobby, skill or area of expertise that makes you happy.

As I stated before, the main limitation we were facing as trainers was that we could only train so many people. Once the training stopped, so to did the revenue. "So", we thought, "how can we reach an unlimited number of people with our interest of health and fitness?" The answer was the Internet. After a little research, we discovered a free course about Internet Marketing. "Cool", we thought. "Work from anywhere, anytime - exactly what we were looking for."

Of course, like so many products in the area of Internet marketing, the course never lived up to its promise to make us rich quick. But it taught us enough to immediately realize the value of another product we stumbled across.

Since none of us were great writers, we were a little worried about creating content for a website. But lo and behold, they also have a free Netwriting Masters Course.

More interested now, we downloaded the SBI Action Guide. That is the instruction manual that SBIers use when building their websites, and it's free for whoever is curious! It was an eye opener. Now we could see where they were coming from, and we could also see that this would work... if we were willing to work. (No problems there.)

The day we started with SBI, we knew we had reached an equally important turning point, following an exciting new direction. We are still far from being rich, but being rich was never our goal anyway. As I mentioned above, you can't get rich quick this way. Like many SBIers you will first earn a nice little income on the side, which gives you more space to breathe, and which could pay for that trip you've always wanted to make to some exotic getaway.

With time, the income from the site will grow. It might take a few months, or for people who have very little time it might take a year or two... but if that's what you want you could eventually resign from your day job, like many SBIers have.
