How to Get Healthy

My health is a work in progress. I'm tired of being fat and tired. I'm tired of not having energy. My wake up call is screaming in my ears. Diabetes, spastic colon, asthma, and excema top the list of my health problems. I've spent countless hours sorting through health information trying to discover the best way and most efficient way to get healthy and stay that way.

This lens is also a work in progress. As I discover new and important information, I will add it to the lens.

I will start by stating my philosophy (living up to my own beliefs is the hard part). I believe we should eat food God made and intended for us to put in our bodies. If man made it or altered it, then we should avoid it. Real food and clean water is what we need to live, thrive, and survive. This is not easy considering today's lifestyles and the multitudes of altered foods on the grocery store shelves.

I am not a health nut. I love pizza and ice cream and most definitely chocolate, however, I am tired of doctor bills and downing pills to cover up symptoms. I am vowing to take charge of my own health and my own life. Join me in becoming healthy, fit, and happy. Let the sunshine in!

Wheatgrass

The benefits of wheatgrass are numerous. I first heard about wheatgrass when I was hanging out at a local juicing store. I was waiting for my juice when I noticed a book on wheatgrass. I flipped through it was surprised at the numerous benefits. I decided to give it a try. A shot of wheatgrass a day will help your health and vitality. It tastes like...grass. Very green grass. I always chase it with a sip of juice or smoothie. It's not bad...honestly.
