    Natural medicine is great! We work with natural prevention :). Hand washing is the best way to prevent illness and disease.

    I am not familiar with all of these herbs however there are definite benefits that deserve consideration. As you know, it's important that folks tell their practitioners all of the medications (prescription and non-prescription) that they are taking prior to adding any form of herbal medicine (since there are some interactions that can be dangerous - esp. with blood thinners and certain heart meds). Great lens, so thorough - I'll be featuring it early on in my Part 4 of Squidoo people with a good heart. Hope it helps!

    When I get sick, I always turn to herbs before medications. Most of the time, I find that the herbs work better and end up costing way less.

    Love this lens about natural medicine and natural health products - big thumbs up from me!
    As herbal and alternative health remedies is a special personal interest of mine, I wish I could write lenses about it too - but all the natural health lenses I wrote were long ago frozen even though they didn't 'sell' anything except on Amazon modules - go figure!

    A "to the fact" lens that shows the importance of naturopathy, alternative medicine and holistic healing. Allopathy mostly treats symptoms but has an upper hand because of the heavy research that goes on in this stream, natural healing with herbs is Ayurveda which is a lost stream due to neglect and lack of research. Loved the way you have stressed the facts so clearly.

    Great work. ~o~ I suggest that you move "Share this page" and "Featured on Isle of Squid" down to the bottom of the lens where it becomes more a suggestion than a solicitation. Visitors won't have decided yet up front that they want to share the lens; towards the end, it comes across better.
