Purple Sheep Project - Return to Sensibility
Ranked #22,434 in Healthy Living, #326,265 overall | Donates to Save the Children
Why are you putting up with greenwashing?!!
When you think it about the world went nuts over the last 60 years. Whole economies and lifestyles were based on utter stupididty and ignorance. Below is just one example of how the world forgot about wool. One of mans most useful natural resources.
People deserve honest and transparent information about the products they expose their families to and yet we 97% of Americans are living with synthetic materials made from oil, many don't even realise what they are missing out on.
People Deserve Wool!

People Deserve Wool!
20th century obsession with fake.
21st century return to sanity.
We now live in a world where entire generations have only been exposed to synthetic materials, nylon carpets, polyester clothing, and vinyl have replaced silk, cotton and wool. To the extreme that 96% of Americans live and work with textiles that are essentially plastic.
We now live in a smarter world. Consumers will not be fooled by advertising and propaganda and now look for true information before investing. People are returning to natural products and are fast realising that the obsession with synthetics was just a very short blip in the thousands of year of history between man and natural materials.
The 21st century will naturally see the return to sensibility!
People don't even realise the world around them is completely man made.
The 20th century's obsession with fake has seen rises in disease as people simply are not exposed to natural elements that they have evolved over millenia to live with. During the last few decades manufacturers of false materials have actually spread proaganda claiming that natural textiles can cause ill health.
Carpets were reported to be a safe haven for dust mites. Scientific research shows that asthmatics are far better to live with wool carpets that will absorb indoor air toxins and control indoor humidity than to live with hard flooring that can not contain dust.
This century we are finally seeing consumers, even governments come to their senses. People are starting to wake up and demand things made from real stuff that will enhance their lifestyles and make them and their familes lives healthier and richer. Green is no longer a movenemt for stinky hippies. Sustainability is now good business practice.
People now want things that are good for them and the planet. Things that are..
Sustainable
Renewable
Biodegrable
Natural!
Did you know..
Wool won't burn. The US military use wool, by law, for all under garments as it will not melt into human flesh.
Wool can absorb 16% of its own weight before it becomes wet, meaning wool carpets actually control humidity in the indoor environment.
Wool garments are naturally antistatic protecting people from nasty static shocks!
Astin Marton cars use 100% New Zealand wool for their car mats.
People deserve to have the truth about what they live with and how they clothe their families
PEOPLE DESERVE WOOL
Consumers Want Niche Products
People are coming back to wool..
Niche markets exists for natural sustainable products,The clients are discerning. To provide products to this market they must have superior design, in colour that fits perfectly within the interiors of the day. It is no longer possible to wait for apparel to lead the way and follow the lead.
Interiors customers can find product on the market that are the latest trend and fit with their taste and that tick all the boxes on ethical trading and sustainability.
Increasingly international brand owners are recognising that survival means having a slice of this market, but to be part if it they sometimes have to learn how to play by new rules.
They need to understand that marketing is about creating your very own purple sheep.
Products that sell themselves, service that is impeccable, reliable and transparent supply chains.

- I threw out almost all my man-made fabrics, I love cotton personally, but I can see how wool has been forgotten. Let's hope with the green movement becoming bigger, we will return to natural fibers.

- Interesting idea for a lens! You are right we do seem to have forgotten about certain things in this age. We have forgotten about real food that tastes of something too!
