Natural Ways to Treat Vaginal Yeast Infections
Natural Douche
You can use this solution to treat your yeast infection by douching gently every couple of days or everyday if your yeast infection is severe.
You will need: vinegar (apple cider vinegar is preferred), yogurt with live bacterial cultures and warm water.
Mix 4 tbsp. of vinegar and ¼ cup of yogurt with a liter of warm water.
Place the warm solution in a douche bag or plastic syringe or even a meat baster. Lie on your back on a towel and douche gently.
Garlic Tampons
Peel a garlic clove, dip it in fresh olive oil (oil that was refrigerated will be more soothing), wrap the clove in a thin piece of gauze or cheese cloth and then tie the end. Insert it into the vagina as you would a tampon and replace the garlic clove every 4 or so hours. You can also use the garlic clove without the cloth if you wish.
For extra relief: wipe the vaginal area with pure olive, garlic or mineral oil and avoid using soap. Sleeping naked will allow the area to breathe. And finally, taking care of your immune system with yeast free vitamins is also important.
