It's human nature to mature, grow, achieve and prosper. How often we get stumped, in a rut, or just don't see our own potential. We can feel unbalanced and not know why and unfortunately not know what to do to feel complete and fulfilled.
There is so much out there to discover and explore and I have personally spent the last 8 years exploring many different avenues of self-empowerment - some I've held onto and some weren't for me - all covering different areas of my life from relationships, profession, parenting, financial, and the area that influences all other areas, inner awareness/spirituality. I have found through personal experience and information from many other sources that what's going on with your inner thoughts and perceptions effects the other areas of your life either positively or negatively. Connecting to and appreciating our natural world is a simple growing point to empower yourself to reach new heights of your potential.

Everyone's felt the need to "get away". It's no coincidence that nature is a common escape for people to go to de-stress or relax. Even those all inclusive getaways are filled with time spent outside, enjoying the beach, dolphins and sun. Our beautiful nature holds a very special connection with all beings and when people acknowledge that connection through the various ways to enjoy the outdoors we're on the way to discovering our joy to life. The trick is to be constantly interacting and appreciating nature to be at our best. Improve yourself emotionally by making the outdoors a daily part of your life. You can do this by walking in areas where nature is mostly left to do its own thing; sourcing out ways to improve mood and health with natures gifts like herbs, essential oils, grown foods; spending time in nature improving your physical health by running, biking, camping, hiking, rock climbing, swimming in natural bodies of water, and many, many more. - Spend at least 10 minutes everyday noticing nature
- Take a 1 hour walk at least once a week in a nature only area
- Have plants in your home and/or outside that you take care of

Stress Management with Tea from Natural Herbs
What better way to connect with nature than to nourish you nervous system with calming herbs from nature. Herbal Nerve Tonics - known as Nervines - work to create harmony and balance in our body's nervous system. Most effective when taken daily, herbal nervines have high concentrations of minerals and B Vitamins that feed the nerve tissue directly, helping to release stress from our bodies. Even the act of preparing an herbal nervine is stress reducing. Go outside while you're drinking your tea and feel the embrace of our giving nature to maximize the benefits.You can use the following recipe as a tea OR make a foot bath out of 1 quart of freshly brewed tea to soak your feet for at least 15 minutes.
Herbal Stress Release
2 tbsp. green (not dried) milky oat tops(pictured)
2 tsp. Chamomile
2 tsp. lemon balm
1 tsp. lavender
1 tsp. rose petals
1 tsp. chrysanthemum
Pour 1 quart boiling water over herbs. Cover and steep for at least 15 minutes. Strain and sweeten with stevia or a touch of honey if desired.
This recipe calls for dried herbs, except for the milky oats, if using fresh herbs double the amounts.

Your writing is AWESOME! I couldn't agree more about the spiritual freedom that Nature offers. It is so liberating to be outside and hear nothing but the sounds of the natural world - I simply cannot get enough of it!
