Outside the Church Walls

The heavens declare the glory of God and the expanse proclaims His handiwork. (Psalm 19:1)

The Bible clearly tells us that all of creation bears the mark of its Creator. Obviously, He put it there for us to see. So why is it that so many in the church are afraid to look? There are so many areas of Science that we have relegated to the fringes of Society. People can only interpret such things by the amount of "truth" they have so we disagreed with their conclusions and wrote them off. However, if we have a solid Biblical foundation, it becomes the plumbline for everything we learn. With it as our guide, we should never be afraid to look at something new. Don't we know that the Creator is greater than His creation? There is nothing that He doesn't understand and if we will seek His Wisdom, He promises to give it to us.

This lens is dedicated to exploring some of those areas that some church people might not consider 'safe', but which daily display His Glory.

Signs in The Heavens

Most of us know the Christmas story about the birth of Jesus. We know that the Magi brought the Christ Child gifts of Frankincense, Myrrh and Gold. Did you remember that they were able to find Him because they studied the stars? If you think the study of the stars is demonic or evil, then you will miss many of the Biblical signs of the end times.

Consider this report that I read on the God's Kingdom Ministry site.

In September of 1996 an unusual astronomical event occurred for the first time in history. The moon passed through the womb of Virgo, the Virgin, and moved down to her feet, while the sun was positioned behind her. The moon was like a child being born and laid at her feet.

In other words the heavens actually portrayed what is written in Revelation 12:1-5,

" (1) And a great sign appeared in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and on her head a crown of twelve stars; (2) and she was with child; and she cried out, being in labor and in pain to give birth . . . (5) And she gave birth to a son, a male child, who is to rule all nations with a rod of iron; and her child was caught up to God and to His throne."

This occurred for four years in a row each September. There was some excitement in various Christian circles, of course, and many thought the "rapture" was about to happen. When it did not happen, they went on as if nothing had happened. It is unfortunate that so many Christians think that every sign can point only to a "rapture," as if God does nothing else, or as if nothing else is important in the progression of the Kingdom. So when the "rapture" does not happen, they move on to the next sign in hopes that it will bring the "rapture," forgetting all previous signs.

Greg Killian described this sign in 1996:

"Draco is poised above the woman, waiting to snatch the manchild. The moon is poised in the 'birth canal' of the virgin who is lying down with her feet in the air . . . The constellation of Coma Bernice is the crown of twelve stars above the virgin's head."

Again, he wrote:

"Those who celebrate Rosh Chodesh (the new moon) have learned that Messiah is represented by Lavanah ("moon). The celebration of Rosh Chodesh, the new moon, includes the announcement of the new moon with the words: 'David, King of Israel, lives and endures!' Lavanah, the moon, represents Messiah in this unique astronomical event. This particular positioning of the mazzaroth (constellation) Bethulah, the virgin, about to give 'birth' to the moon (the Messiah) has never occurred before, and will never again, due to the precession of the equinoxes."

As I said, this sign occurred four years in a row, and the greatest precision of all came in the fourth year--September of 1999. This was Jesus' 2000th birthday, which we celebrated on September 11, 1999 (Rosh Hoshana). But the first occurrence was in 1996, which we understood as being a Jubilee.

This was a major astronomical sign of the birth of the Manchild which, in some way, was being birthed in our day. It began with the Jubilee declaration and ended with Jesus' 2000th birthday, the end of the "two days" prophesied in Hosea 6:2,

"He will revive us after two days; He will raise us up on the third day, that we may live before Him."

How Words Affect Our World

Did you know that there is photographic evidence that what we speak affects our world? It's fascinating. Once you see it, I guarantee that you will think twice about what you are saying!

Sounds of Heaven

Freddie Hayler has a fantastic testimony. I have met him and his wife Anne and can tell you that his experience is real. He has a lot to tell about what Heaven is like.

Are You Looking With Your Eyes Closed?

For since the creation of the world his invisible attributes-his eternal power and divine nature-have been understood and observed by what he made, so that people are without excuse. For although they knew God, they neither glorified him as God nor gave thanks to him. Instead, their thoughts turned to worthless things, and their ignorant hearts were darkened. (ISV - Romans 1:20,21)

Have you ever heard of Kirlean photography? It's a kind of photography where they can take a picture of you and see the energy field that eminates from your body. You do know that we are made up of energy don't you? If these bodies are made up of the same elements that the rest of the Earth are, then they have the same kind of energy it does too. It's not something spooky or demonic, it's simply the way things are created to be. Your energy field will change depending on your health (emotional or physical).

The Bible teaches us that all creation was spoken into existence by the Word of God. We know that words carry measurable energy so obviously when we understand that energy better, we will have a greater understanding of our physical bodies. When we push such knowledge off and classify it as 'New Age' or worse, we close our eyes to some of the wonder of God in us.

More Kirlean Photography

This lens is by a friend of mine who goes by the name Jewelsofawe. I wanted to include it because it shows you what Kirlean Photographic pictures look like. She is a very talented poet with an artist's soul and I have enjoyed getting to know some of the things that God has hidden in her. Whether you agree with her explanations or not, the pictures are real.

What About Magnetics?

Some Christians are afraid to use magnetic jewelry because they feel that it has demonic overtones or is some of that dangerous fringe stuff. (However, most of them have no problem taking drugs like aspirin or Tylenol which are totally unnatural.)

Our Earth has a magnetic core. The very iron in our blood responds to magnets around us. When will we learn to stop classifying what God said was good as something bad?

You can find out more about magnets, how they work and what they are good for on my Netmender Magnets site. My personal testimony is that they are wonderful for helping arthritis and carpal tunnel syndrome. It is much healthier to put on a bracelet than to take a pill that your liver is going to have to filter out of your body.
