Companionship With Nature Spirits
Nature Spirits are the inner energy-flows of earth beings - animal, plant, mineral, atmospheric, geomantic, and elemental.
Shamans dream and journey alongside favorite spirits of nature as companions, in friendship and voluntary cooperation. This is not worship. However, it is "worth-ship" -- one of the original meanings of the word worship.
Shamans develop original, singular personal relationships with the elements, rocks, plants, trees, animals, and other nature beings, largest to least, that resonate most harmoniously with them, beyond all traditional and cultural meanings and symbols.
This celebration of nature spirits and tribute to several of the many who help me in neighborhood and universal shamanic shifting lists some of the ways each strengthens me. But these are examples only -- notions to begin and play with.
I live and teach contemporary shamanic ways in an east side neighborhood of Milwaukee, Wisconsin and on the Net.

Grow Friendships With Nature Spirits
There are many ways to get to know nature beings!
A Method..to Start: Frequently and regularly spend periods keeping company with nature patiently, breathing in and giving back. Do intentional acts of kindness and show curiosity and respect. Blur your vision a bit and gaze, or close your eyes and imagine, lean or lie back, and listen and smell and touch...and even taste and dream.More Ways: Dance and/or sing your impression and understanding of a chosen nature companion. Create visual or verbal art in honor of your new friend(s).
Another Way...to Continue: Open a sacred circle and shamanic journey or shamanic dream a natural being, place, or element you are getting to know and want to deepen your friendship with.
Pay attention as you practice these methods and you will receive individualized teachings and gifts from spirits of nature. Remember to ask and to THANK!

- I love this page, but of course you knew I would. These days I am really involved with my photography and nature's pull to me is so unique and different than it was before. I have always had a strong connection with Nature, but NOW it seems as if it is on a different level. I have to admit, I am loving every second of it!! Leaving you with a Blessing from a SquidAngel A big blessings for a beautiful Valentines!!!
