  • A backpack- just make sure you don't over load it!
  • A Journal
  • Writing and drawing materials
  • Magnifying lens
  • Binoculars
  • Nature guides
  • Bottle of water
  • A few snacks
  • Hand sanitizer
  • Baggies to collect a few specimens (if you choose to do this and if it is allowed where you are going).
  • First Aid Kit
  • Camera or video recorder

    Great lens, extremely important for children to experience nature in my opinion.

    Excellent! I believe it is extremely important to teach our children about nature and I can't think of a better way to do that then to take a nature walk.
