NATURE FUN CRAFTS AND COLORING PAGES FOR KIDS

Kids love collecting nature objects especially when going on those special walks, it is a great way for children to learn about the world around them.

Those nature objects also make wonderful supplies for arts and crafts projects.

The world around us is a great inspiration for those budding artists, it helps children to appreciate and enjoy the beautiful world in which we live!

MOSS WREATH

-White glue
-Small container
-Water
-Paintbrush
-Styrofoam form (heart-shaped or circular)
-Spanish Moss
-Ribbon (in several colors, if desired)
-Baby's breath or silk flowers (optional)

Pour the glue into the container and thin it
with a little water. Brush the glue mixture
onto the Styrofoam form, then have your child
press Spanish moss onto the glue. If necessary,
use additional glue and moss to fill in any
empty spaces. When the glue is dry, wind
ribbon around the wreath. Begin and end at
the top of the wreath, typing the ends in a bow.
If you like, use more than one color of ribbon,
and tuck baby's breath or silk flowers into the
moss.

LAYERED SAND ART

About Shellonline

Hello fellow Squidoos!

I am smiling and shaking my head as I am typing because I have once again put myself in a place of unfamiliar territory!  My profession is an elementary teacher also with an art degree so as you can already imagine...I love those kids to do crafts! My weakest link(so to speak..) is computer stuff and anything related to electronics so I have been on a mission to make websites, make a video on Youtube, join affiliate programs etc.  I really do not know what I am doing but I want to learn...so as I tell my children(my own personal children and classroom children) good thing for mistakes because making mistakes are the best way to learn!  So.....your patience with me is so ever appreciated and by the way..I am thrilled to be here and to have you reading this! Thanks so much!
