While Underground was not as fun as MW, Underground 2 sure leaves both in the dust. And I like both Underground and UG2's style of relaxing night-time racing than stressing daylight bleeding all over my screen, even though MW has some breathtaking scenes.
In the end Underground 2 (extension of Underground) wins in my opinion. Most Wanted 's exciting hot pursuits were were fun for the moment, could not beat Underground's extreme customization options, drift and outrun races, tuner-culture feel, night-time racing, city exploration and awesome soundtracks!
You can't even be the cop in Most Wanted (you could do that way back in Need for Speed III: Hot Pursuit) and there is no reason to actually explore the world except to get upgrades and new cars. Underground 2 had secret shops, races and 'bank's all over the world. All those finding secrets and exotic races... that kept me exploring... kept me engaged... and definitely kept me happy!

Need for Speed: Underground (NFSU) is the seventh racing game in the Need for Speed video game series developed by EA Black Box and published by Electronic Arts in 2003.
Underground remakes the series' formula completely with a heavy emphasis on tuner culture and a storyline-driven career mode. All races take place in a generic city at night. Rather than exotic cars, Underground featured vehicles associated with the import scene. Underground was commercially successful, and inspired a sequel.

What I like about Need For Speed Most Wanted is the hot pursuit features. You will get pursuit by police officer in the middle of a car race, you will have to escape from them and hide away from them. These is one of the features that a lot of other Need For Speed Version does not have!
