Ok, let me preface this by saying that while these are expensive, many people spend comparable amounts on swing sets for their kids, and these are SOOO cute! Recently, however, I made a stop in a small, locally owned toy store. I was shocked by the variety of toys on the shelves, most of which I had never seen before! Now, I realize that if you do not live in the vicinity of one of these small business toy stores this may not be an option for you, but if you do, take a step inside and view the wonderment of the specialty toy store. You'll be glad you did.
Make it a point to visit your locally owned toy store on November 13, 2010, this year's National Toy Store Day! According to Toybook, During this year's Neighborhood Toy Store Day (NTSD), American Specialty Retailers Association (ASTRA) will announce the winners of its 2010 Best Toys for Kids awards.

3 Avocados Coffee
Consider how important your purchase could be, not only for your family member or friend, but to an entire village.
Three Avocados Coffee does just that. This small, non-profit organization was developed by a group on a mission trip in Uganda. We belong to this church and bought this coffee for my mother-in-law for Mother's Day. It was a great hit and my in-laws really loved hearing about this great organization.

"We were worshiping with a congregation in Bulopa when the offering plate was passed around. A woman, who literally had nothing else to give, placed three avocados in the offering plate. It struck us in two ways. One, that she was so poor she had nothing more than three avocados to give. And two, that she was willing to give them. These are the people we strive to help.".
