- Lots of great ideas and I believe in having Christmas Stockings for kids and also stocking holders are a great idea, you can get so many nice ones. My only real complaint is that the stockings are generally only 21" I think someone needs to get cracking on making bigger ones. I know that Amazon has larger ones but they are to large. What I do for my Grand kids for Christmas is buy 5 items each costing around $20 each, so that they get a little bit of everything, I like to give it in a stocking instead of wrapping it because I think that makes it look like Santa left it but like I said most stockings are to small. Like I said these are great ideas and this year I am going to make my own so that it is the right size.

- I am looking for a christmas stocking that has only squares of different stitch patterns to be done in one or two shades of white, so ti will have depth with a contempory look.

- That sounds lovely. I haven't seen anything like that, but perhaps you could get the Holiday Redwork Crewel Embroidery Stocking and use different shades of white floss instead of the red floss that is in the kit. You would then have a white-on-white stocking.
