Neo Geo Games on Virtual Console

I know only two kids who had a Neo Geo growing up--and their parents were loaded. The Neo Geo console cost nearly three times its competitors Nintendo and Sega, so getting one never crossed my mind. But now that Nintendo has released some of the best Neo Games on Virtual Console, I can feel like the rich kid who had $300 games for a very cheap price now. The Neo Geo looks a bit dated now, but when it came out there was nothing cooler than looking at the graphics on the back of the box and wondering how can video games get better looking than this. You'll notice that the Neo Geo released a slew of fighting games, like every other game system in the 90's. Fighting games were the craze of the mid to late 90's and Neo Geo churned out some classics. Some of the best Neo Geo games on Virtual Console are Fatal Fury Special, Metal Slug 2, Baseball Stars 2, and Samurai Showdown.
