NeoQuest

I have played both NeoQuest I and NeoQuest II on my old Neopets account. On my new account I am on the final act of NeoQuest II and have started NeoQuest I. I prefer NeoQuest II because it has better rewards and you get up to four characters by the middle of the game, instead of just one.

NeoQuest I

In NeoQuest I you play as a Lupe and go through the game beating monsters and bosses. You can have up to four games going at once, since this game is attached to your pet. Whichever pet you have active has their own game and if you switch active pets, you start a new game. Your game is saved to the pet, so it is not lost. As you beat each monster, you earn experience points and items. As you gain experience points, you level up and can learn a new skill, and neopoints. These skills make it easier to beat the monsters and bosses. When you beat a boss you earn experience and neopoints. The items that you get off of the monsters can be used to build you better weapons and armor, which makes the game a little easier. To make the game more understandable, and easier to beat, I use a guide. The guide helps me with picking my skills and making sure that I am at the right level to beat a boss. If you are underleveled, the boss could beat you and you have to find your way back to the boss, which can take a lot of time. The quide I like for NeoQuest I is In-Depth NeoQuest Guide. There are several guides on here, but I find the one by Strangefire420 the most helpful. This site also has maps that make finding your way much easier.

NeoQuest II

In NeoQuest II you start out as Rohane and as you go through the game, you pick up Mipsy, Talinia, and Velm. Similar to NeoQuest I, you fight monsters to level up, but you earn gold to buy your weapons and armor. Also, in Neoquest II, you only are allowed one game per account so it doesn't matter what pet you have active. Instead of getting neopoints for each level you gain, you only get neopoints for beating the bosses and the game. I use a guide for this game also, to make it easier to beat. I use this guide for what skills to use and what level to be before fighting a boss. I also use the maps at In-Depth NeoQuest Guide.
