Kathmandu Nepal
After being there for a while you pick up little bits and pieces of their language like 'namaste' which is like hello welcome
A lot of locals have learned English because of the large amounts of westerners that head to Nepal for trekking.
I stayed here for two weeks, did a trek in the Annapurna region which is West of Everest.
I camped on the trek and also stayed at a hotel in kathmandu which was great!
It was in a really good spot, kathmandu was an extremely busy city!
The weather wasn't to bad it was very mild and got colder the higher we went during the trek.
Our clothing mainly consisted of trekking gear and warm clothes in the afternoonand night time.
We had our breakfast lunch and dinner cooked for us daily.
The meals on the trek were quite heavy to give us energy but similar to Australia with lots of vegetables and chicken.
Whilst on my saty I visited a few places Durbur square, Bodhnath Stupa and Pashupatinath (hindu temple)
The highlights of my trip would have to be the 12 day trek in the Himalayas and not seeing any other tourist groups, the scenery was amazing it was so serene.
A level of fitness is definitely required for this trip!!you have to make sure your prepared for it.
Id give this place a 9 out of ten for the trek but Katmandu city is very busy and dirty, some people may not like it.
