Baby Einstein's Neptune Soother

Babies are known for being "turned around" after birth and not sleeping during the nighttime hours. What parent wouldn't love to have this soother to lull their new baby to sleep with sound, motion and lights? Swimming fish are quite hypnotic and relaxing and that is exactly how your baby will respond to this soother.

The pros and the cons

There are a total of 92 reviews of this product on Amazon. Most of these reviews are positive with comments like "wonderful crib toy"; "plays music or nature sounds"; "Loved the progressive shut down and the ability to have the white noise of music"; "parents love the remote control"; "25 minute play time with gradual shut off". There were several negative comments that mostly talked about how many batteries the device used and the inclination for the fish to stop swimming after a while. With sound, lights, and motion, you should expect rapid batter use. Be sure to stock up on size C batteries when you buy this item. The soother needs 6 batteries to work, so you can see why you need a good supply. The other negative comments were about the length of time the item worked. For $32.00 you would not expect it to work forever, but none of these negative reviews said anything about contacting the company for replacements except one and she got a new one immediately from the company.
There seems to be good customer service if it is actually accessed.
