Dragon Warrior

This legendary story is about a descendant of the hero Erdrick. Who you the player decides who the name of that characters name is. The plot of the game is about trying to restore peace in the Land of Aefgard. Becuase the Dragonlord has stolen the ball of light, and their is a mass of evil all around.

So the key is to fight Monsters to start off the game, because they give you experience points which help you get to the next level. They also give you gold which enables you to buy stuff. From Swords, Keys, Armor, and a nights sleep at the inn. Which will restore you health..

It's up to the descendant of Erdrick to save the land and the Princess. You will start the game with very minimal weapons and power. Unfortunately you can't go after the dragonlord right away, because he will kick you butt, and besides you couldn't even go very far in the game with out dying.

So your object when playing the game is to gain experience, power and magical points. You do most of this by conquering levels. When you conquer a level you can experience, in some cases magic points and you may learn a new spell. I will admit it does take a good long while to get going in this game. So lets take a closer look at this game....

Monsters

To beat this game, you'll face about 40 different kinds of monsters. The main monster you'll face when you start the game is a slime. When you are starting out you want to fight as many monsters as possible. Why you ask is the monsters give you gold pieces and experience points, which are necessary to get you to the next level.

Each Monster You'll Face Has Maximum Hit points - which is the total number of points it has meaning a blue slime has 3 max hit points, and each time you attack a blue slime you take 1 hit point away, then it will take you three attacks to kill this slime. Keep in mind this is based on when you start the game. Each blue slime will give you 1 experience point and approx 2 gold pieces. So the more Monsters you kill the more points and gold you'll get. Then the faster you'll climb to new levels and the faster you can buy cooler stuff.

With each Monster such as a slime you'll have 2 varieties of that monster but have more maximum hit points, and will give you more experience points and gold.

I'm not going to go through all the different monsters, but I'll give you a couple of examples

The Slime Monster There are 3
Blue Slime - 3 Maximum Hit - Gives you 1 Experience Point - Will Give you 2 gold pieces
Red Slime - 4 max hit points - 1 experience point - Will give you 3 gold pieces
Silver Slime - 4 hit points - 115 experience points - and 6 gold pieces

Then Their are other monsters from ghost, wizzards, knights, goldman, werewolf's, Droll, Scorpion, Wyvern, etc you get the point.

As you get further into the game the Monsters get tougher, but the reward to defeating them is greater.

Were as a Red Dragon Has:
100 Hit Points - He will give you 100 experience points and 140 gold pieces.

Spells

Spells are used all throughout the game. Either you are the one using the spells or many of your enemies will use them against you. Many of the spells are a necessity in the game, and help you in defeating your quest.

Heal -Achieved Level 3 - Restores Health
Hurt - Level 4 - Takes Enemy Hit Points Away
Sleep - Level 7 - Puts Enemies to Sleep
Radiant - Level 9 - Like a Torch, but Better
Stop - Level 10 - Stops Enemies from Casting Spells
Outside - Level 12 - Takes you outside of cave
Return - Level 13 - Takes you back to Tantagel
Repel - Level 15 - Keeps enemies away
Healmore - Level 17 - Heals more of your Health
Hurtmore - Level 19 - Take more Hit Points away on Enemies

Armor to Use During the Game & Swords

There are 7 different armored styles to use during the game. Each piece of armor up's your defensive hit points. Meaning the better the armor, the less prone you are to losing your hit points

Clothes - Cost 20 gold pieces - +2 in defense
Leather Armor - 70 gold pieces - +4 in defense
Chain Mail - 300 gold - +10 in defense
Half Plate - 1000 gold - +16 in defense
Full Plate - 3300 gold - +24 in defense - location Kol, Rimuldar, Catlin

Magic Armor - 7700 gold - +24 gold - located Rimuldar, Catlin

Erdricks Armor - You find This this is the very best, I would recommend this to get to the dragonlord - located in Hankness

Swords you Can Get
The swords are similar to the armor, were the better the sword it increases your attack points. So when you fight a monster the better sword will kill the monsters faster.

Bamboo Pole - cost 10 gold - +2 Attack Points
Club - 60 gold - +4 Attack Points
Copper Sword - 180 Gold + 10 Attack Points
Hand Axe - 560 Gold - +15 Attack Points
Broad Sword - 1500 Gold - +20 Attack Points
Flame Sword - 9800 Gold - + 28 Attack Points
Erdricks Sword you find this in the dragonlords castle - + 40 Attack Points

Herb - Cost 24 gold pieces - Restores Health - Located in Breconary, Garinahm, Kol, Cantlin

Torch - 8 gold - Located in Breconary, Garinahm, Kol, Cantlin

Dragon Scale - 20 gold - Aids in Defense - Location Breconary, Garinahm, Kol, Cantlin

Wings - 70 gold - Returns you to Tantagel - Location Kol, Cantlin

Magic Key - 53 gold - Opens Doors - Rimuldar

Fighters Ring - Aids in Defense - Location Rock Mountain Cave

Fairy Flute - Makes Certain Enemies Sleep - Location Kol

Erdricks Token - Proves you are Erdricks heir - Location Swamp South of Cantlin 70 south 40 east

Erdricks Tablet - tells you Erdricks Heritage - located in Erdricks Cave

Silver Harp - allows you to get the staff of rain - locate in Garinham Cave

Gwaelins Love - Allows you to see how far away you are from Tantagel - location gwaelin gives this to you

Staff of Rain - Use to make Raindrop - location is in the Northern Cave

Stones of Sunlight - Use to make Raindrop - located in Tantagel

Rainbow Drop - this creates the Rainbow Bridge - location in the Southern Cave

Cursed Belt - sells for 180 Gold pieces - location in Cave of Garinham

Cursed Necklace - Sells for 1200g - located in Rock Mountain Cave
