Some prepaid phones charge a daily rate whether you use the phone or not that day. Some only charge the daily rate on the days that you place a call. It is usually 99 cents on top of the per minute rate. Net 10 does not charge this daily rate. You only pay a per minute rate of 10 cents.

There is no contract

When you purchase a phone you get 300 minutes as a bonus. This is spread out over 3 separate refills. You use them in 100 minute increments.

Minutes carryover into next refill period as long as you refill before your due date

Purchase them at brick and mortar stores such as Walmart, Family Dollar, Dollar General, Radio Shack, Kmart, Sears, Fred's, Walgeens, Rite Aid, Office Max, Office Depot.

For every 300 minutes that you purchase, it gives you 60 days of service.
