Hi my name is Annie and after a lot of wasted time and money I have learned the hard way what works and what doesn't. Now I get paid to make websites successful. I wanted to find a way to give a little back as well, so I have a website up and running (but very new) and between making sure all my clients website continue to be successful I will show you the ropes:

These are easy techniques anyone can do, taking tried and true marketing techniques and then taking them up a notch to increase your conversion rate.

Step #1. Find or create a product, research the keywords associated with that product.Put up a website based on this product and those keywords. Now this is the way I do it, as when I do it this way I am sure to create or find a product that I believe in, something I am passionate enough about to tell others about and this is important to me.

Now list your site and submit it to as many search engines and directories as you can find. Taking care to list under the appropriate headings.

There is another way, and many internet marketers prefer this. Research keywords find something that is hot, hot, hot, and then create or find a product based on those keywords. Put up a website using those keywords and this product.



Step #2. Product Launch the website and product, this usually involves sending out a lot of emails to friends, friends of friends and known associates letting them know about your launch date and that you will be on a webcast on a certain date at a certain time to let them in on what is coming and how they can benefit. So basically a promotional event. There are numerous ways to do this, but this is what most of the 'formulas' will tell you.

Step #3. Create a Blog and list it with the search engines and start blogging, 'tweet' and 'plurk' your blog updates and then write at least 10 articles and submit them to article directories. Send out Press Releases about your launch with catchy headlines.

Step #4. Make sure your website and blog are search engine optimized and continue to write blogs and articles. Now comes time to begin to comment on other blogs, so that word about you, your website and blog starts to get around.

Very simply put this is the kind of information that many people who are selling information to you will tell you in their high priced eBooks etc. Now, that being said I also sell eBooks and most people who really want to do well do as well. eBooks are a big part of marketing on the 'net.

However, I have to let you in on a secret SSSHHH! Don't tell anyone I have told you... There is a lot more to it. To really become successful there is a lot that you still need to know. It is all easy and simple and time consuming (at least at first) but it is what the big financially successful internet entrepreneurs don't often tell you.
