Network Marketing Breakaway Compensation Plan

The breakaway plan - which is also known as the stair step breakaway plan - is actually the oldest program that is out there. And for sure it is still alive and kicking - although some companies are phasing it out in favor of some of the unilevel plans. Remember I said some!
With the breakaway plan you will need to build a strong support structure - thus giving this plan a booster shot for growth - then you can move onto to the next leg in your breakaway plan. Usually if you have 20 to 30 people in your structure it will continue to grow with support alone. Caution - with the breakaway plan you do not want to build very deep (personally) otherwise you can actually accelerate the breakaway process. You merely want to go wide with those 20 to 30 people in a structure and continue to go wide to maximize your income. A 60/40 split on your personal production and training is an ideal equation for breakaways. This paragraph needs to be understood - this is what will bring you success with your breakaway program. Read this paragraph a few times - it will be worth your effort!

I hope by now that you realize here is no such thing as the perfect compensation plan. Each has its advantages and disadvantages and this breakaway plan - due to its long history - has undergone some changes thus the switch from this plan to the unilevel plan by some companies - it does not make this plan bad it just means it was changed - no more - no less. Anything that survives the test of time deserves a seond look...

Now in many ways - as I have stated time and again - this breakaway compensation plan is similar to the unilevel plan - with the exception that your downline has the ability to actually "breakaway" from your compensation structure - now that is not so good! Now when that happens you usually get a small over ride percentage of their total organization - still not enough! Many of you will find this very annoying as you can suddenly see your income check drop significantly when this breakaway actually happens. I feel I must point out to you that in manyways this "breakaway" is similar to the unilevel plan. Many people love this plan and you may be one of them - I am not!
