What's Wrong With Stacking in Network Marketing?

That's right, contrary to popular belief, network marketing stacking is not only harmless, but it can make huge profits for a distributor, his or her down-line and even the network marketing company itself. For those who don't know what stacking means, it is the practice of aligning distributors vertically, one under another right down the line, by sponsoring new prospects for existing network marketers. Simply put, one person could be at the top of the network marketing line of sponsorship and stack his down-line in place by sponsoring a person underneath him, and then a person underneath that person and so forth. This practice creates the potential for an unlimited vertical down-line and gives new members incentive to stay in the business because they will constantly have new distributors sponsored for them, so they have literally no work to do, and they will constantly by increasing their profits.

So why is stacking not practiced more often online in different home-based businesses and network marketing opportunities? To be honest, I can't really figure it out. One possible reason may be that some network marketing companies frown upon the practice of stacking or maybe even say they don't allow it. A closer look at the rules of most companies shows that you can easily get around this "rule" by saying you are building depth, as there is essentially no difference. The company is not likely to object to you bringing in droves of new distributors every day if your opportunity is set up the right way, meaning that everyone has an incentive to buy products from the company.

Another possible reason is that those who are new to the industry are not aware of the fact that a network marketing business can be manipulated so easily to make a profit. Many people are trained to do it the old-fashioned way and they are never able to think of creative and new, automated ways to build their business online. Once they learn the secrets of automation and the ease of stacking in network marketing, they are often blown away that they were making it so difficult. Some people may be aware of the potential of stacking but say they want a challenge and they want to build their business the right way. I don't know about you, but I would rather make money easily than take on a difficult, unnecessary challenge.

Some may have even looked at stacking and read some false information online and concluded that the numbers don't work out and that stacking eventually loses its profitability somewhere down the line. This is simply not true. If your business model is set up properly, distributors should have an incentive to buy a certain amount of products, earning volume for everyone up-line from them. And while some compensation plans in the industry will decrease the rate at which your profits expand as you continue to stack your down-line, most of the ones I have studied are set up so that eventually you earn a percentage of your down-line's volume and the more people that are added to the down-line, the more your profits will increase. So by stacking a network marketing business, you may see your profits shoot up quickly, then slow down considerably but still continue to make money, and eventually pick back up to profit levels you could have never even dreamed of. There is no ceiling on how many people you can sponsor of how much you can make, and no one ever quits if the down-line keeps growing underneath them.

The most likely reason why stacking isn't more popular is that many online network marketers, as well as the traditional network marketers in the off-line world, want you to believe that this business is much more difficult and challenging than it really is. They want you to think you need extensive and ongoing training, and more importantly, you need to buy this information and business tools from them. After all, if network marketing were as easy as I am saying it is, than there would be no more need for motivational training or any other type of expensive training that helps you to recruit, sponsor and run your business. That's just the problem though; it actually is as easy as I am saying it is, so there is no longer a need for any of these "gurus" to sell you their training and business-building information.

The Internet has changed the network marketing industry dramatically and it will never be the same. Network marketing was on the brink of vanishing forever just before the Internet rose to prominence in the mid 90's. In 2008 and going forward, it will be possible to build an extremely lucrative network marketing business through 100% online automation and stacking. In this way, network marketing will actually become a legitimate answer to our country's and our world's economic problems and it will become the salvation for millions of people who dream of financial freedom and a residual income for life. Find a network marketing opportunity that offers a program like this or create one yourself if you have the expertise, know-how and start-up money. You definitely will not regret it.
