Web 2.0 & Network Marketing What's All The Fuss?
Before I recommend something to anyone I have to prove it's validity in the claims it makes. The current craze is web 2.0. I find it amazing how we can give something old a new name and make it new.
While the internet has increased our reach, from out of our warm local market, it is not the cure all the people are lead to believe.
There recently where studies that indicated fully 50 percent of our market are not searching actively on the internet. 25 percent cannot even do a search on google.
There are many what I'll call scammers, advising you that Web 2.0 will bring you a targeted market. This targeted market is mainly other network marketers, with the premise of ditching their company for yours' how ironic.
Still there are a lot of good respectable, honest and ethical individuals in network marketing that are out there to help you succeed.

Why Are So Many Network Marketers Running Away From Talking To People?
This is a question, I've often wondered. Today there are so many people in network marketing that truly are afraid to talk to people.
When you couple this with all the "Guru's In A Can" that promise you some type of system whether that is an Autodialer to do all the work for you, until you get that letter from the FCC with a fine attached to it.
To those that want you to create very poorly done youtube video's, trust me Google ranks the video's that do one thing.
That one thing is the visitor does not head off to your site but clicks instead on the advertising on the page. Hey after all they need to make money too.
Today's society has truly become dysfunctional, we've become a nation of introverts often afraid of our own shadow.
So how do you break this? Go to your local meetings if you have them, rub elbows with some of your fellow entrepreneurs.

Network Marketing Ads
Awhile back, I finally decided to pull all the Google Adsense ad's off my site that dealt with network marketing. The number one reason was, they've let it get out of control.
In my sites I talk about relevance to what is successful in network marketing you all of the ads supplied where, well I'm sure you can see on this site!
With all the negative, comments and advertising out there it's no wonder that people are failing! They are listening to the wrong people as they're chasing multiple paths, yet failing to focus on building their businesses.
Why is it so easy for us to get side tracked, hopping from one method to another without really focusing on it is really going to take to get the job done?

Web 2.0 News: YouTube Views Down Does this Affect Network Marketers?
Nielsen, reported this month that Youtube Views where down over for the month of January 2008 vs December 2007. Still they are the top dog when it comes to delivering online video content.
Many network marketers are creating video after video, some just plain funny about network marketing. Are they really reaching their target market or is it more effective to have the video displayed on their own web sites?
Sending their prospects to their own web site really makes more sense then sending them off to youtube. They'll just plain get lost in inside with all the video's pulling them in different directions based on their interests and desires.
I find it strange that there will be video's there that have been up less then a month with 6 or 7 thousand views and others with similar titles and content with only a few hundred views.
Looks to me they are trying to game the system by clicking on their own video's to drive the views up, hoping it will seem to make it more valuable.

What Is The Alliance For Ethical Network Marketing?
The Alliance For Ethical Network Marketing is a non-profit group being formed to help clean up the mess found in network marketing today. With it being so easy to get into network marketing we get some really great people, but we also get some of the degenerates of society.Today we have MLM's suing MLM's over issues that never should have come to light. We have a whole breed of network marketers that do nothing but practice recruiting other network marketers from different companies.
By this I mean they actively do it with advertisements and negative comments about the other companies. This does nothing more then tarnish an already tarnished image. How can we be taken seriously, when we have those that act like children or school yard bullies?
If your tired of what is going on then I urge you to join this group and send a message to those that practice these despicable methods.
