Networking On A Budget

What's the main reason people fail at networking?

The answer is one simple word, MONEY! Plain and simple. We have all been conditioned to believe that networking in a major way costs thousands of dollars. In the past I have used this reason as a crutch to why I couldn't make it in my business. "All the successful people are the ones that came into the business with a bunch of money, and they probably already knew a bunch of people." These statements are weak, and are said by people who either haven't learned the truth, or are just plain never going to make it. I have learned much over the years that have developed me into the man I am today. The articles that follow will all be about how we can network, and market our businesses, whatever they may be, on a budget. Just because you don't have wads of cash "RIGHT NOW" to start your marketing infrastructure, you will. Keep reading on if you want to find a way to overcome your fears of no money right now, and kick your business into high gear.

What is the answer to this Marketing conundrum?

Is there really any good marketing that's free?

The first question always seems to be, "How in the world can I market my business with little to no money?" The answer is right in front of you literally! It's the internet. Most sites where you can post information are free, or may cost a few pennies to add your information to. I will warn you though, it isn't just a couple of clicks on the mouse and you're in business. This WILL take time, and learning. If you understand that, and apply yourself, you will be successful. There are tons of different places where you can post, but where do you start. That's easy, wherever you want. There is no wrong place because they will all benefit you in their own way. Each different activity that you can do will have multiple effects on your online exposure for your business. The first thing you should have before you get going is a website. You want to be able to direct people where to go for more details. Unless of course you have decided that you are going to use a blog as your home base of operations. It all depends on whether you are going to spend the money to have a site built, if you already have one, or if you know how to build one. If you decide to not go with a website for whatever reason, don't stress about it. Your stress will slow you down very quickly, and kill anything you are doing that is positive. I know from experience! Let's go over a few very powerful ways to get your business to gain traction online. First great site is Squidoo, but I'm sure you already knew that. That's why your here! Now you can always use blogger, word press, or even all three. All of these will do amazing things for your business, most importantly they will create traffic. Now your in front of people, it's your turn to step up to the plate and get them interested about whatever it is your doing. Remember you are the expert in your field, even if you don't feel like it sometimes.

What else can I do?

Others tips and ideas to increase your exposure online.

Like I mentioned before, there are plenty of ways to market to keep you busy. My favorite are the free ones. You can generate tons of traffic to your sites, that can turn into plenty of dollars later on. You have the proven methods above, but you also need to focus on press releases, videos, and free classified sites. There is so much information that I can fill you in on about these subjects, but to really go in depth I urge you to go to the picture and click on it, and give yourself a chance to be successful. I will add more information as the days go by, and as the information comes to me. I look forward to continually spreading information for all to see and benefit from.

A proven way, to NOT chase prospects!

Encouraging networkers who get it.

When you click on this link you will be guided to the program that has changed my life, my way of thinking, and most of all my bank account. The bottom line is education is very important no matter what you are doing. If you don't master a field, you will only be mediocre in all you do. If you think this is a joke, gimmick, or just plain stupid please leave this page immediately. You are never going to get it, so it would be rude of me to waste anymore of your time. I wish you happiness in whatever you do. I never have claimed to know everything, but I know this, if you are willing to learn for yourself you will be successful. The close minded never accomplished much, if anything at all. I know when you change your mindset to being successful, then you become that. Ever heard the saying "you are what you eat?" Same thing goes for your mind. Put negative thoughts in, you will have negative experiences. Put positive thoughts in, and the world is at your fingertips. If you do not believe in yourself, how could you expect to market anything, or even network and have people believe in you. People don't buy a product, business, venture, or opportunity, they are spending money because they like you, and see themselves being able to have your same success, or maybe better success. I have done sales, and I'll be the first to tell you they are not easy. It takes a lot of hard work to make your quota. It is when you push yourself out of your "comfort zone," that is when you future opens up, and not a minute before. At the end of the day, you are all the stands in front of your success. So move out of the way, and MAKE IT HAPPEN ALREADY!

Maximizing your time!

Learn how to schedule your time properly when working your business.

Ever heard the saying "Time is Money?" Well, when it comes to being successful in your business, time management is a very important element. Without proper time management, you will cost yourself thousands of dollars, and many wasted days. So how can you really manage your time properly, what is the secret? The secret is actually quite simple, don't spend more time on activities that don't make money, than activities that do make money. I use an easy step to managing my time. The first thing you want to do is make a list of what you need to accomplish for that day, or even that week. If this is a new philosophy for you, then I would start doing it one day at a time. You never want to overwhelm yourself when starting something fresh. Now that you have itemized out what needs to be accomplished for the day it's time to really set your schedule properly. Determine if there is anything that has to be done immediately, or at a specific time and then schedule your day around those events. Try not to allot to much time to sharpening pencils! There are some tasks that have to be done in order to get you to the tasks that make money, but know that the majority of your time should be spent on those cash making tasks. When it comes to my daily schedule I always look at how I can maximize my time by limiting how much time I can afford to spend on any given task. That way I know that when I leave work, (or walk out of my office at home), that I accomplished everything that needed to be done that day. Ever spend a day working, and feel that you really didn't accomplish much. Put this into action, and that will never happen again.

Yeah, networking is important and building relationships even more. Leveraging the power of the internet is one of the best ways to go about it. Drawing interested people rather than running after them is definitely the way to go. Networking as it is today, has attracted a lot of spam and so one had to be different in this saturated age of the internet. It definitely requires a lot of patience, hard-work and consistency.

Lead List vs. Internet Marketing?

The Ultimate Question!

In recent years there has been a lot of controversy between this subject. The internet is such a big place, can you really utilize it as a tool without spending a fortune, or should you focus your money on buying lead lists, and cold calling people. I believe the answer is the internet, but many disagree. Too many people say learning how to do anything on the internet is too difficult. That one statement will set you up for failure. Believe nothing is too difficult, and you'll be amazed at how much you accomplish in your life. There are a lot of people that swear by lead lists, and that may be what works for them, but isn't this the generation of the internet, and the era of technology? Please leave your comment below, we are all wondering!

Lead list versus Internet marketing, which one is the strongest and the most cost effective, if done right?

Lead list are the way to go, they've been around for long enough to know they are not going anywhere!
