IT'S GETTING TOUGH OUT THERE!

We constantly hear of down sizing, mergers, or companies going out of business altogether. Many people who thought that they were in a good company with a good future suddenly found themselves unemployed.

JOB SECURITY?

Let's face it. Corporate employers can no longer offer job security. In November of 2008, 533 thousand people were let go. And that was November alone.

MY OWN STORY

I found myself in that same position. After a company merger my job became a duplication of one being done at the new corparate headquarters. I saw the "writing on the wall" and realized that I, an employee of the smaller company that got "ate up" by the bigger one, was no longer needed.
