You tried your Network Marketing product and loved it. You "knew" that everyone else who tried it would love it, too, and that the product would "sell itself"... YOUR words, even before your upline used that phrase on you!

But is it working yet? How does anyone find good network marketing leads? Or get them to understand the value of your wonderful product? Or get them to even listen to you at all?
It's all just getting very frustrating....I'm sure you can add a few choice words of your own here.

But how can you quit now? You were so convinced that this was going to be part of your retirement planning (same for everyone in your downline), better than your 401k, provide great residual income, let you quit your day job, workathome, be your own boss, early retirement, etc. There just MUST be a way to make this work! Right? Besides, you still love the product and you plan to personally use it forever... but it IS a little bit expensive, and you were hoping to at least make enough money so that your own personal supply would be "free", or at least cost you a little less.

I'm right there with you. This is my own personal story that I'm telling you.

I started researching the topic of network marketing to see if this was even a legal, respected business model. What I found seemed to be a mixed bag.... but only because you'd probably be able to find criticism of Mother Theresa on the internet... anyone can post any official-looking website that they feel like posting. Yes, there are MLM scams and illegal pyramid schemes. But after sorting through all the overly dramatic negative sites with too many bold, red, large letters, I was also pleasantly surprised to discover a large amount of non-hyped evidence in support of the network marketing business model.

As is "brilliantly" shown in this video, you are NOT going down the wrong track. It definitely IS possible for you to see your financial dreams come true with a Network Marketing business.... ANY Network Marketing business. It just takes a change in thinking about your prospects... putting yourself in their shoes... caring about what's best for them.

Luckily for me (well...serendipitously, actually, since there's no such thing as luck!), a healthy skeptic in my family found a strange page on the internet, written by Ann Sieg, that sounds on the surface like she's warning us to stay away from MLM and network marketing at all costs. But what this prophetic person, the original Renegade Network Marketer, is actually saying, is the modern-day key to successful Network Marketing! I'm a physician (pathologist). I live in Clearwater, Florida with my husband, Kurt, and our Bengal cat, Bengie. After 27 years together, after moving 12 times back and forth between 3 states, 1100 miles apart, we finally bought our dream house (our FIRST house) here several years ago, and we NEVER plan to move again. Actually, I shocked a few contractors in our house during our hurricane preparedness renovations in the past few years by saying "We're going to die in this house!" Then I had to explain that that's a GOOD thing, because I simply meant that we're never going to move again.

Kurt is also a physician (internal medicine)... as well as a successful local musician, after earning an associate degree in music from Jeff Berlin's Players School of Music here in Clearwater. He plays bass guitar more hours of the day (and night!) than he works in his part-time medical practice.

We are both compulsive and conscientious in our medical professional lives, but we want to spend as much time as we can at home and in our other interests. I actually love sitting at a microscope, looking at cervical and endometrial biopsies (one live patient per slide, with a medical problem that I can assist their gynecologist in treating). And I actually have a wonderful boss! But.... it's a job, with all the frustrations of any other job, including the part about one-job-one-paycheck... and there are SO many other things I like to spend my 24 hours doing. So I'm transitioning to early retirement from medicine by way of my network marketing and internet marketing businesses.

Yes, I realize that our two-physician household with one cat and no children has "enough" money.... but who doesn't overspend, regardless of income level, or want more (or both)? What happens if one of us gets sick, disabled, or laid-off? (we're both employees... we don't run our own practices.) And who CAN'T find a good use for more money? Early retirement, charitable donations, household renovations/repairs/maintenance, travel? My list is much longer, and I'm sure yours is, too, if you're a human being on planet Earth in the 21st century!

I turned 50 recently. My body started to tell me it was coming about 3 years before that, though.
My job is physically stressful, because it keeps me inactive, seated, uses very few (but repetitive) small muscle movements, and leaves little time in the day for exercise and the other care that an aging body needs more and more of.
I won't be in that chair for 8 hours a day and on the road for another 2 hours a day until I'm 65 or older!

I enjoy landscaping, gardening (organic food and landscape plants), inventing healthy ice cream recipes, birding (birdwatching hikes with the Audubon Society), matting and framing our photographs to hang on our walls, and classical choral singing with the Tampa Oratorio Singers.

We both love the heat and humidity (and the other seasons, too... yes, we DO have seasons in Florida), the water, scuba diving, bicycling, hiking. And we plan to start kayaking.

My vision is to help miracles happen for as many people as possible by releasing them from the prison that we're all taught is the way we're "supposed to" live and work... one person, one job, one paycheck... for an entire lifetime. All it takes to create financial freedom is a change of thinking. The mind is very powerful. The abundance of the universe is there for those of us who learn how to make it ours. Pay attention. Keep your eyes and ears open. Trust your instincts.
There is no such thing as a coincidence!

Every network marketer has a "why" ... the reason that they started their business and want it to succeed. I don't need or want a lot of "things" that I don't already have. My husband and I are already pretty blessed with those. My "why" is to have more time to do what I want to do, instead of being an employee. I love my work in medicine, but it's stressful on my mind and body, just like any job, and I plan to cut back a lot on my hours.... before I retire.
