Marketing Funnel System - A Simple Business Model for Internet Marketing Success

How To Use a Simple Step-By-Step Formula for Market Dominance

Developing a business model is crucial to success in any business. This module will help show you the steps to a marketing funnel and why a product funnel is key to your internet marketing success and market dominance.

Developing a marketing funnel system is one of the first steps you need to take when starting your on-line business. Information product marketing is the hidden key to mass lead generation and the following is a simple step by step business formula that can be followed to help avoid mistakes and save tons of time.

Step 1. Develop a squeeze page

A squeeze page is literally just what it says; you are in a sense "squeezing" out relevant information from your customer/prospect. What you are looking for in a squeeze page is contact information so you can start to build your list. In order to do this you need to offer some sort of free offer, otherwise known as an "ethical bribe". So when the prospect lands on your page, they see your free offer and fill in their contact information so they can get the offer. Once you have your list, you can continue to market to that list with more relevant offers. After a while, with a really good squeeze page and marketing funnel system, you could eventually be on auto pilot. It will make money for you automatically.

A great example of an excellent squeeze page is Ann Sieg's The Seven Great Lies of Network Marketing. Everything on this page is above the fold. There is a video, a free offer and a place to capture contact information. If you haven't had a chance to read this free e-report, it is a great information packed report and it was basically what started it all for Ann. At last count, she is still generating 300 to 400 leads per day from that page alone. So you can see the value of creating a really good squeeze page with an excellent "ethical bribe" or free offer to start building your own list.

Now you can market and promote to that list. Softly sell as you begin to build a relationship with them. After a while you lead them to step 2 of your marketing funnel.

2. The Front-End Product on a Sales Page

For purposes of the this lens I am using Ann Sieg as an example because her funnel is the one I follow and it has had tremendous success. It took her a while, as she says, but she has it pretty much tailored down now and it works like a charm. Is it perfect? No and Ann will be the first one to admit that, but it is always a work in progress with continuous improvements as you go along.

The Sales Page should offer a front-end product that is under $100.00. In today's economy especially, people are more willing to part with their money if you keep it reasonable. The Renegade Network Marketer e-book is Ann's sales page. A great, value packed business empowerment e-book for under $100.00.

You have begun relationship building but you haven't offered them enough value for your list or prospects to really be willing to put forth a great sum of money until they feel they will get their money's worth. By offering them a front-end product that is under $100, you will build more and more trust with that audience as they become more aware of the value you offer for what you are asking in return. Remember, consumers, prospects, customers...this is a process that takes time. You need to work hard to build that trust and that relationship. People need to know that when they part with their money, it is going to be well worth their investment. So start small and then you can move forward to higher, back-end products.

3. Monthly Subscription or Continuity Program

Once your list has purchased from you once and they feel good about that purchase, then you have started to open the doors to a lasting relationship and the abililty to continue to market to that list in the future. You could create a membership site or start a newsletter that has a monthly subscription attached to it...believe me if people feel that what you are offering is getting them to where they want to go, then they will be hungry for more inforomation from you. You did the hard work at the beginning. This is just basic follow-through. Keep giving value to your list. As the old saying goes "build it and they will come."

4. Offer mid-range an affiliate products

Between $100-$500. Now you can offer that same list other products that are little more expensive but that you recommend, use or create on your own. The key is you are always increasing the profit margin of each lead as you go down the funnel.

5. Finally - back-end products: webinars, coaching, home study courses

This is the granddady and these products are in the $500+ range. But by this stage of the funnel, your leads are hungry for more information, they are serious, quality leads and they are willing to invest in their future and their education and you are the one they have chosen.

Not only is this funnel crucial to your internet marketing success, but it is a great way to build your credibility ranking, brand yourself in the on-line world and own your list so that you can continue to market to them and increase your profit margins with every lead you produce.

These are the reasons why having a good plan and a good product funnel is key to market dominance, retention and internet marketing success. If you follow these steps and continue to tweak it as you go along, your on-line business will grow and you will continue to dominate your market.

Twitterfied? 3 Reasons You Need to Start Social Networking for Your Small Business

New To On-Line Social Networking? Why You Need to Embrace Social Networking as Part of Your Marketing Strategy

Every day I hear another program ending with "twitter us on ....". Seems Twitter has overtaken our lives faster than anyone could have ever imagined.

But if you are new to this "on-line" thing, then you might be wondering just how do you get involved in this rush of people heading on-line for their business and can you really be "social" without meeting someone face to face?

Answer pure and simple is YES. Absolutely you can be social on-line without meeting someone personally. If you are more accustomed to the traditional ways of networking it is an adjustment and the thought of "putting yourself out there" on the internet can be a little intimidating and overwhelming at first.

But once you get in the on-line networking mode, you open up your world to an amazing array of people from all over the globe. People you never would have met otherwise if you tried to network the old fashioned way.

Small Businesses Can Embrace Social Networking but why should they?

Here are 3 Top Reasons Why You Need to Be Using Social Networking Sites as part of your marketing strategy:

1. More than half of all small-business owners believe social networking sites have a place in the business world, according to a 2008 survey by SurePayroll.

And one in five companies has generated business from a social media site.

2. On-ine Social Networking Sites are where people are going. Customers, prospects and other small business owners.

According to a 2008 Market Tools Report, nearly 7 in 10 of American adults visit online blogs, communities or social networks, and one-third of those surveyed say they visit these sites to read up on product reviews to help them make purchasing decisions,

That is pretty powerful stuff and more and more people are coming on-line every day so the possibilities are endless to build and grow your small business.

3. Last, but certainly not least, they are "free". Free ways to generate leads, build lists, attract prospects, dominate your niche and grow your small business all without a dime coming out of your pocket.

Facebook and Twitter, two of the most booming social networking sites out there right now, allow you to reach literally thousands of people in a heartbeat. Something that just a few short years ago, would have never been possible.

Be careful when using these sites though. Do your homework. Study the protocol. There are right ways and wrong ways to social networking just as in traditional networking. Become a student of these sites and you will be amazed at just how powerful social networking can be for you and your small business.

Do you really need any more reasons? The list could go on and on but these 3 reasons are enough to get you out of your "fear" mode and onto the internet.

Want to start right now but not sure what to do? Feeling a little overwhelmed or intimidated by the meer thought of on-line social networking?

How I Built My First List Product Review

Do Ann Sieg and Mike Klingler Form a Dynamic Duo?

Answer - Yes, unequivocally, yes. No questions asked.

Mike Klingler, in his usual style, explained step by step how he was able to build a list (for free) of 1172 prospects in 3 days. There are no bells and whistles with this training. Just flat out value.

He walks you through (doesn't matter if you are completely new to this attraction marketing thing or not) from the beginning of his process - taking you through his thought pattern - it's like having a front row seat inside of his brain for an hour.

This first class in a series of three How I Built My First List with Ann Sieg and Mike Klingler not only delivered as promised, but as usual, delivered more than expected.

Mike Klingler has always offered more value for the price than anyone out there so I was not surprised that this first class exceeded my expectations.

Mike shares with his audience the exact process he went through when he was still a "newbie" to build his first large list simply by leveraging events. What he did, how he did it, what tactics he applied. He is genuine (the real thing) and it shows through with his teaching style and material.

This isn't a 1/2 hour - here is what I did to get rich quick - seminar. This is a value driven, value packed hour++ webinar packed with information and techniques that anyone can apply

So if you are expecting to learn how to "get rich quick" this will not be for you. This is real - what it takes and how to apply what you learn through methods MIke Klingler has taught for over one year now in his University.

Now the best part - Ann Sieg is teaming up with Mike Klingler. Two Gurus of Attraction Marketing sharing their knowledge? Doesn't get much better than this and doesn't get more reputable either.

I have been a student of Renegade Professional for over 5 months now and Ann Sieg's Renegade Network Marketer was my first foray into attraction marketing. I have never looked back.

How I Built My First List sold out very quickly so Ann and Mike came up with the perfect solution.

Due to demand they are going to be giving people access to the recorded webinars sooner rather than later!

The first two live webinars have already been held and are ready to watch. The third class in on Tuesday, February 17th and anyone who purchases the recorded version of this series will get access to that call as soon as it's done.
done.

The cost is $97 and from my viewpoint worth every penny (much more but value is something Mike Klingler and Ann Sieg offer on a continuous basis - they not only teach it but live it). So there is still time to get in on this great series of classes.

You also can purchase courses 2 and 3 if you are a non-professional member of Renegade University for $99.00 total.

If you become a professional member, the classes are complimentary and will be available to you for the life of your membership.

Renegade Professional will be closing soon for a "makeover" and I am sure when it reopens it doors, there are going to be a lot of surprises in store for anyone who is seriously contemplating moving their business to the next level with this new model of attraction.

Position yourself now and take advantage of the wave of people that will be coming onto the interent in the next few months looking for people to help them with their businesses on-line.

Be there at the forefront of the wave so you can capture the momentum!

The Renegade Network Marketer - Truth or Hype?

How Ann Sieg's Renegade Network Marketer Lives up to the Hype While Keeping it Real

There is a lot of talk lately about the Renegade Marketer, an e-book by Ann Sieg extolling the non-virtues of the old fashioned network marketer, specifically the uplines and how they run their organization.

First reaction is skepticism; a natural defense mechanism. How could she dare say we have been doing things wrong for all these years? She must be nuts. But after having bought and read the book within 2 days, a new recruit was born. Being a Network Marketer for 7+ years in several different companies, there were many parts of this book that hit home and it was refreshing that someone had the mojitas to write about it in such a direct way. It's what you are thinking in the back of your mind but never quite had the guts to say.
Well, Ann Sieg says it for all of us.

Beating a path down to everyone's door and talking to people you know may have brought some success but old school networking falls short in 2 main categories:

1) You can't duplicate yourself and;
2) Most people can't seem to step out of their "comfort zone" and approach people that they don't know with an elevator pitch.

It just wasn't who I was - no matter how many motivational books I read and how many seminars I attended I always fell short in this area. Bottom line is if you are really not being yourself when presenting your opportunity or products, then you are not being genuine and people see through that. But, they say "it's not sales", you are just "sharing" your opportunity with someone. If it looks like a duck and walks like a duck, chances are it's a duck.

Ann Sieg's e-book was a lifesaver. The methods she teaches are methods I am totally comfortable doing and enjoy immensely. Internet Network Marketing works.

Is it sales? Yes and no.

Ann Sieg's methods are much less intrusive than hard line sales (people give you permission to contact them) and you are offering them value FIRST, opportunity second. Building a relationship with your prospect is the key to attraction marketing. The old way of network marketing was opportunity first, everything else second.

The Renegade Network Marketer also teaches methods that are more lucrative (monetization) so you can earn money to help subsidize your business expenses while you build your company. You can create multiple streams of income so you never have to worry about putting all your eggs in one basket. Diversification.

I'm sure there are uplines out there that are upset about the book and your company may not even promote internet marketing; but we are in business for ourselves and we should feel free to explore whatever avenues work for us. Many uplines may just be afraid of change. It is human nature. Most people resist change until it is forced down their throats and then they become comfortable with the new ways once they are settled into doing them or because they have no choice.

If people are comfortable with the old way, then they could definitely still recruit using the techniques taught them, but why not give your downline options? Options are what makes capitalism work. Imagine if you only had one type of ice cream to choose from, or cereal?

What Ann Sieg has given us at the very least is that - options. The option to decide which way works best for you. Even if you decide not to implement the ways she recommends in her book, at the very least it will help you make an informed decision about how to approach your business.

So, is it hype or truth? Like sales - it's a little of both and definitely a must read.

Mike Dillard's Black Belt Recruiting

Black Belt Recruiting - The New Buzz in Network Marketing

Mike Dillard did it again but this time he teamed with his old mentor and phone prospect expert, Mark Wieser to create the latest in a series geared towards the Network Marketer who has the prospects but doesn't quite know what to do with them.

Appropriately titled Black Belt Recruiting it promises to teach you ways to close prospects using the (ugh!) dreaded telephone! Tapping into every Network Marketer's fears, this course looks like a winner. Using the techniques he taught in his previous books about targeting your audience and tapping into their needs, Black Belt Recruiting is geared towards Network Marketers and it is fulfilling a need that most of them have (learning how to overcome their fear of talking with prospects on the phone by knowing WHAT to say!)

Black Belt Recruiting is filled with teasers promising everything from sponsoring people who have already decided not to join your business (yes, that is NOT) to the best time to talk to a lead (believe it or not, it is AFTER they have talked to other Network Marketers)!

Dillard's Black Belt Recruiting is not just for Network Marketers although that is the target market he is after here. If you have any business, large or small, and you struggle with the right things to say to customers or prospects, then Black Belt Recruiting is definitely worth the price of admission.

There is far too much information to list everything it contains here but a few snippets (taken directly from Mike Dillard himself include:

- Discovering the right and wrong ways to collect leads from online networking forums.

- A strange (but extremely effective) way to make money by referring prospects to other network marketers who are NOT in your downline.

- A surprisingly simple way to get your new reps anxiously getting on your company's auto-ship program.

- A simple "adjustment" you can make to your TV set that will dramatically increase the number of new reps you sponsor!

And this is only the tip of the iceberg.

Mike Dillard leverages his expertise by bringing in Mark Wieser to create a very compelling and most certainly, "hot" new coursebook for the Network Marketing Industry. He has created a free hour long video so you can see for yourself the value offered in the new Black Belt Recruiting book.

Be one of the first to get in on this new launch so you can stop procrastinating and start contacting all of those prospects you have worked so hard to build.

Black Belt Recruiting and Renegade University - Perfect Match?

Discover Ways to Build a List and Recruit using New and Old School MLM Methods

Black Belt Recruiting is the latest and greatest from Mike Dillard. Just recently launched on July 22, it looks like it has already created quite a stir among the followers of Internet Attraction Marketing. The jury is out yet whether the old school MLM crowd is going to be on board. Time will tell.

But if Black Belt Recruiting is the icing, then Renegade University is the cake. Because without the cake, the icing is useless (unless, of course, you enjoy gettting a sugar rush). But, enough of the analogies. Bottom line is without a good foundation (leads), then calling prospects really won't be necessary.

So how do you combine the best of both worlds?

Simple. Renegade University offers step by step tutorials on Internet Attraction Marketing. It teaches at every level; whether you are brand new to the internet and have never even turned on a computer or you are a seasoned pro who just needs tips and tricks of the trade.

With this step by step guide, and a strong committment to success, you can create a great web of content and start attracting prospects to you rather than the other way around. You learn how to build a list of prospects that are genuinely interested in what you have to offer by going on the premise of "value (give) first"; take second. It is Permission Marketing - you ask people for the opportunity to proceed utilizing many methods including a Lead Capture Page where they enter their information and allow you to contact them.

Followed through, this method can create a large amount of leads for your business. Leads that are interested in what you have to offer or say. That is a far cry from the old school methods of talking to everyone within ear shot about your business or opportunity.

Now, here is where Black Belt Recruiting comes in. You've built this great web of content, you have created a large list of targeted prospects but you want to take it to the next level.

Can you wait until they call you, just like they promise with this new model of Attraction Marketing? Absolutely. It will happen, but if you have been in Network Marketing for any length of time, you know that contacting your prospects is key to building a strong, duplicatible downline. But most people are terrified of calling prospects.

Why? They don't know what to say and they hate rejection.

Black Belt Recruiting walks you through how to talk to your prospects (in great detail - from the tone of your voice to what to say and when) and promises to deliver 10+ new reps per month. You've probably been through all of the training your company offers about talking to leads, etc. but have you ever really followed through? Probably not. More than likely, your leads are "cold" leads and if you are like most people, you hate being bothered by pesky salespeople and you don't want to become one of them.

This is where Renegade University and Black Belt Recruiting come together to form a beautiful marriage.

1. You learn how to attract targeted prospects to you by offering them value. You build a warm market on-line much the same way as you would belly-to-belly except you attract the prospects that are already interested in what you are offering - Renegade University.

2. You contact your prospects once you have built this solid relationship with them. They know and trust you and are ready to hear from you - Black Belt Recruiting.

Both of these tools are invaluable to your success if you are looking to move forward into the 21st Century with your Network Marketing Business.

Combining both of these methods together is sure to be the newest template for success for today's Network Marketer.

Social Psychology and Network Marketing

Learn the Secrets of Using Social Psychology to Explode Your Sponsoring Efforts

Social Psychology - a key component for success in Network Marketing. Mike Dillard and Mark Wieser devote nearly an entire CD to the topic of Psychology in Mike Dillard's new course Black Belt Recruiting.

But what exactly is Social Psychology and how in the world could this help in my Network Marketing Business?

How does this work? Well, first let me give you a definition that helped me understand this concept a little more:

Social Psychology - According to psychologist Gordon Allport, social psychology is a discipline that uses scientific methods "to understand and explain how the thought, feeling and behavior of individuals are influenced by the actual, imagined, or implied presence of other human beings" (1985).

Or, simply put - it is about getting inside your prospects head and finding out what it is that drives that person. Why are they really looking for this opportunity? Why are they a prospect? What exactly have you seen or heard that leads you to believe this person might be a good prospect? Answering these questions and understanding why you need to answer these questions are key to success in sponsoring.

Once you have accomplished this, you start to become a lot less fearful because you begin to realize - no, better yet, you begin to BELIEVE that you have something this prospect needs, not the other way around. Pretty much a head game at this juncture. They perceive you as a leader and someone they want to do business with.

Mike Dillard fondly refers to this as the Wieser method or finding out the reasons WHY.

Turns out too often than not, we waste precious time on trying to sponsor the wrong people - people who are so excited at the beginning and lead you on - you know the ones - they can't wait to join you; they are so psyched and ready - and then they disappear; never to be heard from again. All of this can take an emotional and psychological toll on you. It will impact you both timewise and emotionally.

So what should your mindset be when you talk with a prospect?

Well, for starters, never, never say "Can you do me a favor?" Never! Got that? You are the one doing them a favor and you need to convey that. Whoever you choose to invest your time with is lucky to have you as their mentor or leader. They should feel like they have been chosen, not the other way around.

They need you more than you need them - way more. You have what they need.

If you are doing this right, you should have access to a lot of potential solid prospects for your business. You should always have people to talk to if you are going to keep this mindset. This is where the components of Attraction Marketing come in. If you are not a student of it yet, you need to get on board or the train is leaving without you. The more people you have to talk with, the less fearful you will be of letting them go. It will be much easier to pick and choose who you want to work with when the pickings are larger.

In the initial phases you can very easily disqualify someone who is not right much easier when you have the right mindset and there is no longer a neediness with you to sponsor someone.

When you don't need to sponsor someone anymore, they start to say yes. This is how Social Psychology works. Pretty interesting, huh?

No more begging, dragging someone into the business kicking and screaming. Hanging onto every last prospect like they were a piece of precious metal.

Dragging doesn't work and begging makes you seem needy. People inherently do not want to work with someone who appears needy. They want to work with a leader.

You see, human beings are social animals and they want to follow someone who is a leader. Utilizing these social psychology methods, it is actually possible to sponsor someone into your business without ever telling what you do. How?

The key here is to understand that people are not looking for your business or product; oh yes, they need to have a good feeling about both; but they are looking to work with someone that they perceive as a leader - you are just a vehicle to get them to where they are going. They want someone who is going to be able to coach and guide them and help them to get where they want to be.

You can be brand new in Network Marketing and attract people by using this concept and making it work for you.

Perception is key in the Social Psychology world of sponsoring.

Questions and objections come into play when someone does not perceive you as a leader. Doubt and uneasiness take over when they are talking with you and they will disengage from you.

It's really not that difficult to exercise these methods.

First, have a good list of prospects constantly in your pipeline. Not tire kickers, real quality prospects; people who are looking for what you have to offer. Get them coming to you first and then contact them. Lessons of Attraction Marketing 101.

Second, position yourself as a leader by utilizing the concepts of Social Psychology and shed that "neediness" to sponsor people into your business.

Network Marketers are in a position today unlike any other. With all of the latest Network Marketing tools available, there has never been a better time than now to grow your business to whatever level your desire.

Get on board or stay back at the station.

Which decision will you make?

Decision Analysis - Are Your Decisions Leading to Failure in Your Network Marketing Business?

Learn How to Make the Right Decisions When Prospecting in Your Network Marketing Business

He's too smart, she's too successful, he's not right, she's too busy.

Decisions - all of them - but whose decisions are they and how exactly did these decisions take shape?

When trying to decide who would be a great prospect in your Network Marketing business, how many times have you "disqualified" someone before you ever even talked with them? Hopefully, not many, but the truth of the matter is too many Network Marketers believe they have the "key" to who is right and who is wrong for their opportunity before they speak one word to their prospect.

Decision Analysis. Oh yes, there is a formal definition full of jargon on this but the bottom line is it is the utilization of tools and methods available to make an informed and formal decision. This sounds great, but does this really apply to Network Marketing?

If used correctly, decision analysis is an extremely powerful tool and will lead to a strong and solid downline for your Network Marketing organization. But if used incorrectly, you will be stuck in "analysis paralysis" and never recover from your stupor.

You see these types of decision making methods all the time in Corporate America. Everyone has a meeting to have a meeting to have another meeting so that eventually no decision will ever be made and everyone will be stuck in that "analysis paralysis" mode forever without ever making a decision.

Too often than not we use decision analysis in all of the wrong ways. But you are in charge of your own business now so learning the skills needed to make the right decisions are critical. Over analyzing situations will lead to failure without a doubt.

So, how do you use decision analysis properly when recruiting?

First, you NEVER make a decision without first talking with your prospect. Disqualifying, or qualifying for that matter, someone because you think they aren't "right" or "perfect" based on an observation from afar will lead to failure.

More often than not, the most successful people in Network Marketing were once prospects of someone else who "disqualified" them before they ever spoke with them. Decision Analysis at its worst.

In order to size someone up properly you need to speak with them first. Bottom line. You must talk with them first, ask the qualifying questions, and then make your decision based on their answers. That's it.

DO NOT make your decision based on someone YOU would consider "great" for your business or vice-versa. That does not work. Never has and never will.

Talk with your prospect - don't pre-judge - interview them; control the path and flow with your prospect. Regardless of who you are speaking with they are a suspect before a prospect and until you size them up in your interview, you have no way of knowing if they would be right for Network Marketing. Do NOT over-analyze.

What are some of the key components you should look for when crafting your decision analysis about a prospect?

1. They should have a desire to have a home based business. VERY IMPORTANT. They need to understand what it means to own their own business. If they don't and they have never had their own business, then don't expect them to figure it out. Don't try and inject your enthusiasm about owning your own business into them. They need to have the desire within themselves.

2. Sort out people with a LOTTERY mentality. There is a lot more to Network Marketing than making money. If they expect to make quick cash overnight, then disqualify them. They will be gone quicker than they came in.

3. Do not bring people into the business because you are hungry for prospects. Just because it feels good to have more people in your downline doesn't mean it is good for you. (Think about candy and kids - just because they love it and it feels great to eat it, doesn't mean it is necessarily good for them).

4. Rule out the tire-kickers. Be sure they are serious about the opportunity, not just curious.

5. Always, always have a lot of prospects in your pipeline so your decisions will based on quality, not quantity.

DO NOT try and rescue anyone because you think you need to help them. You can't rescue someone who does not want to be rescued. Let them go and move on.

Don't get stuck in the decision analysis phase of your Network Marketing business. This should be quick and effortless when done correctly. Do not try and make decisions based on your perception. This will lead to failure and you will not recruit the right kind of people into your business. Develop the right mindset when making your decisions.

Decision Analysis is crucial to success in Network Marketing and to recruiting the right people for your organization.

Some keys to success in your recruiting efforts. Always have an ever expanding list of prospects in your pipeline to work with. The more people you have to talk with, the easier it is to disqualify the ones who aren't right.

Develop the necessary skills for recruiting and sponsoring the right people into your business. Education + Action = Success.

Do your homework, do NOT over analyze any situation, educate and invest in yourself, and you will learn the secrets to success in today's market.

Experiential Learning vs. Intellectual Learning - How to Avoid the Pitfalls of Working from Home

How Getting out of the House and Attending Company Functions and Meetings Can Lead to Success in Your MLM Business

Aristotle once said, "The things we have to learn before we do them, we learn by doing them".

How many times in your MLM have you thought to yourself "this is a work from home business so that is what I am going to do - work from home". We all make this mistake. Those still working full time jobs dreaming of the day when they never have to leave the comfort of their home or their computer.

Fact is, this couldn't be farther from the truth when it comes to being successful in your MLM. You need to have a good balance in your business for your best chance at success.

You see, in the work from home industry, too many people are caught up in their own surroundings. They work in front of their computer, coffee in hand, talking to prospects on the phone, connecting through the internet and lounging in their pajamas. All in a days work. We all do it, and with the amazing advances now on the internet with social networking, it has never been easier to connect with so many people so quickly.

This is a fantastic way to network and its virtues have been consistently extolled throughout my content on the internet. However, there are times when socializing through the internet is just not enough. You need a good balance for your best shot at success. So what do you do?

If you really want to be successful in your MLM, then you need to do one thing. LEAVE YOUR HOUSE.

That's right, leave your house and experience everything your company has to offer. It turns out that experiential learning is extremely valuable if not more so, than intellectual learning when it comes to any business, not just work at home businesses.

By definition, experiential learning is simply the process of making meaning from direct experience. If you don't have that experience to feed off of, then how can you share it with your downline? You can't, plain and simple.

We all know the hype surrounding network marketing and attending meetings. But there is something to be said for all of that. Is it life changing like all the claims made by uplines? Well, life changing is a little over the top, but attending company functions can open you up to an entirely new outlook on the way you approach your MLM.

When you get outside of your realm and you meet other people in the industry doing what you do, you feed off of the enthusiasm. You network, brainstorm, and sometimes you actually come to the conclusion that you CAN be successful working from home.

If you have doubts and need reenergized, then you need to go to one of these events and experience it for yourself.

There is nothing that can compare to experiential learning and belief.

Intellectual learning is an essential component if you are to be successful in any MLM opportunity. Learning the techniques of Internet Attraction Marketing are essential for success in today's market. Bottom line. That hasn't changed.

But experiential learning is the bread and butter of your business. Do not under-estimate it's power.

For instance; you go to an event wondering to yourself if you really can make a success at your work from home opportunity. Do you have what it takes? Are you as savvy and brainy as those unbelievably successful uplines in your organization pulling in 6 figures or more?

Could you ever even come close to being as successful as them? They must be geniuses, right? Or high level execs with brainiac I.Q.'s.

Then you experience your company's event and one of the most successful people in the company speaks and guess what? He is a normal every day average Joe just like you and you think to yourself - "wow, if he can do it, I can do it". There are short ones, tall ones, skinny ones, round ones - all shapes, sizes and backgrounds. It is a plethara of personalities all congregated into one room.

You hear stories about how they succeeded; what it took; what they did. You meet people like yourself, some struggling, some new and some who have been doing this for years.

Bottom line, you experience the learning through these events, instead of just sitting in front of a computer reading about what you should and shouldn't do in your business.

Experiential Learning is key to success in any business, but especially important in a work from home business.

Too often than not we get caught up in the simplicity and casualness of working from home. We get "comfortable" and; forgive me please; "almost lazy" in our demeanor.

Getting too comfortable in your surroundings is very dangerous and can lead to failure if you are not careful.

Every MLM has company events - some local and some national - but the key is to get out there and attend them. If you haven't yet, then you are cheating yourself out of some of the most incredible experience you can gain for your business.

Every event offers you an opportunity to pass on your knowledge and to gain knowledge from others. If you are involved in Attraction Marketing, you could network with people there who are involved in the same type of marketing and bounce ideas off of one another. You could introduce these methods to your uplines (many are still hesitant about these new methods) and share your successes with them.

Working from home is a fantastic benefit in this industry. It is something we all strive for and one of the reasons many people join an MLM.

But you need to be careful of the pitfalls involved in working from home, or you could become another statistic in the long list of failed MLM'ers out there.

Today, unlike any other time in the industry, we have the opportunity to succeed like never before.

By combining all that you learn from internet attraction marketing with the old tried and true methods of attending company events, the world could be your oyster.

So, next time your company has an event, go to it...and tell them Anita sent you!

The Myth of Location

Why Location Really Doesn't Matter in Your MLM Business

How many times have you heard the excuse "I can't do this business because of my location?".

If we had a dollar for every time we heard this excuse, we probably wouldn't need to work our MLM would we?

Well, one of the things we hear a lot is the excuse that people cannot work their MLM or at least, be semi-successful, in their business because of where they live.

This, according to Mark Weiser of Black Belt Recruiting, is a myth.

Let's examine some of the reasons this myth or excuse seems to come up a lot when we are talking with prospects or trying to recruit people into our MLM.

Myth #1

. I live too far out and there is no one around here that I can talk to about my products or opportunity so I cannot do the business.

This may have been true 20 years ago but if you live in the 21st century or you have at least tried to keep up with the current trends, you would understand that location is not at all important when it comes to being successful today in an MLM.

The internet has spawned an entirely new world of communicating and those of us who have begun to venture into this world understand the power it brings along with it for tapping into our markets.

On-Line Social Networking is just one way to network with people without meeting them face-to-face. With sites like Twitter, Facebook, MySpace and many others; finding and networking with like-minded people is easier than turning on a computer.

It might take some time to build a network, but doesn't face-to-face networking take a ton of time also? Networking takes time period. It takes time to build relationships no matter how you approach it but utilizing the on-line social networking sites makes it possible to network with hundreds of people daily and establish long term lasting relationships.

Myth #2

. I cannot build relationships long distance because I will be unable to work with my downline or customers one on one.

O.K. It might sound like the beating of a dead horse here, but did we ever hear of a telephone? You know that crazy little thing that goes off every now and then with calls from friends, family, telemarketers and the like? It doesn't even have to be a landline, just telephone - and nearly everyone has a cell these days that they carry around in their purse or back pocket. So what's the problem?

Call your customer, call your prospect, keep in contact with them at all times. Set up a weekly meeting with them to touch base, answer questions, recruit, do third party validations.

The telephone is a powerful recruiting tool and has been used for decades as a long distance means of communication.

It can be just as powerful as face-to-face networking for sponsoring or recruiting if done correctly.

Myth #3

. I can't network with anyone from my location because people around here don't have the money to buy my products or look at my opportunity.

Not to belabor the point in #1, but, that is why the internet is so powerful. If you are still stuck in the old ways of doing an MLM, then, yes, your chances look dim in this instance.

But, today, with the internet, the world is your oyster. It does not matter where you live. You could live in a small village 300 miles from nowhere but if you have a computer, your prospects are limitless.

You can build an entire web of content on-line and attract prospects to you literally within a few weeks or months. You could have thousands of prospects calling you wanting what you have. You don't have to chase people down any longer.

Ever hear of Attraction Marketing?

Well, if you haven't and you are really serious about being successful today, you HAVE to do this form of marketing or you will struggle in your MLM. It is no longer an option.

There is no reason to attach yourself to the old methods of networking or marketing your MLM.

Internet Attraction Marketing has taken the industry by storm and it shows no signs of slowing down.

What this form of marketing bascially does is attract people to you rather than the other way around.

How?

. Build a web of content on the internet (branding yourself)

. Prospects read what you have to say; you offer value to a targeted market (targeted being the key here)

. Utilize bookmarking sites, social networking sites, blogging, videos; whatever you can to get the word out about what you do and what you have to offer.

. Build lead capture pages to capture information from your prospects.

. Prospects will give you permission to contact them and you will build an ever-growing list of leads for free. But these are not just any type of leads. These will be quality, targeted leads. Leads that you would have paid a pretty penny for before but they are targeted to you and your content.

These leads want what you have, they trust you and they are building a relationship with you. So,when you are ready to give these prospects some information, they will be more than willing to listen.

Attraction marketing is about value first (give); take second (your offer or opportunity).

It is building a warm market on-line without ever having to leave your computer.

That is Attraction Marketing in a nutshell but it can take some time to learn it and learn it correctly.

So the next time someone tells you that they can't do their business because of location, are you really going to let them get away with that excuse?

Location is never a deterrent in an MLM. If you have the desire, the drive and the moxie it takes, you can build an extremely successful business from anywhere in the world today.

Get started by learning these new methods of Attraction Marketing so you can pass it down to your prospects and leads and build an organization in a way never before seen in our industry.

It works. Give it a try and never let anyone use their location as an excuse again.
