Anything empowering, positive, motivational -- I'm in. So I wanted to use this lens to share with you: things I'm reading now, things that I read in the past, people who've had a tremendous impact on my everyday.
It's my hope that other folks find it just as useful on the path to joy and abundance we call "life".
Now please drink the Kool-Aid...(just kidding)...enjoy!!
Feed Your Head!!
- The Secret
- You have to watch it to describe it. A fascinating look at what is possible if we believe.
- What The Bleep Do We Know?
- Described as a film that "opens your eyes to new possibilities". A kissing cousin to The Secret, it will change the way you think.
- Tony Robbins
- I know, I know...I wasn't sure...the big toothy grin, I heard he had people doing fire walks. It all sounded like it was time to lace up our black Nikes and climb on our bunk beds..but, no... it's nothing like that. Tony is the real deal. He doesn't want to be your guru -- but he does want to be your life coach. And NOBODY does it better!!!
If you're ready for a serious kick in the keister...check him out. - Dr. Wayne Dyer
- What a great speaker, thinker, human being.
I think you'd have to have concrete for brains to not get something out of listening to him.
Warning: he's very into "manifesting" these days (so am I) so if that stuff isn't your cup of tea -- you may want to go elsewhere. Frankly, I can't get enough of that kind of info. - Nightingale Contant
- Telling a self-help addict about this site, is a little bit like mentioning to a junkie that there's a crack house just down the street. Everyone who is anyone has material available for purchase on this site. Plus you can listen to clips, get a sense of what you like before you cough up the Benjamins.
- Esther and Jerry Hicks
- Okay, when I first heard about "the teachings of Abraham" I was a little uncomfortable. Apparently, one of the authors is channeling some non-physical beings who collectively call themselves "Abraham". Whoa...they lost me after that..."check, please!!" But, then their names kept coming up over and over again from other names I respected, including Wayne Dyer. And then I saw Esther Hicks on "The Secret" and she didn't seem like a lunatic at all -- in fact, I loved what she had to say and the non-judgemental way she said it. So I downloaded a bunch of their stuff -- and I'm hooked.
Honestly, I don't know if she channels this info or not. But frankly, I don't care if she got this material from the family dog -- this is powerful stuff. Abraham, Isaac or Jacob...whatever..I'm bought in!!!
For one thing it makes you feel better about life just reading it. For another it gives you practical tools for being happy and getting what you want in life. Love it!!! I would start with "Ask And It Is Given".
My Blog
Sometimes it's about fitness, sometimes it's about philosophy -- sometimes it's just the musings of another neurotic chick trying to figure it all out.
