Neutrogena Skin Care Products

It's important to figure out what skin type you have. If you don't, you might end up buying face washes and creams that will do more damage to your skin. I have combination oily skin, which is a pain, but I've found numerous Neutrogena products that have helped me.

Skin Types:

Dry: If you have dry skin, your face might feel itchy or tight. Sometimes it might get flaky in some areas, especially in the winter when the air has less moisture. Find a good moisturizer. Cetaphil has a great lightweight lotion that is good for any skin type. I even use it for my combination oily skin. Also, make sure you wash your face no more than twice a day. Face washes can seriously dry out your skin. Whenever you wash, moisturize after.

Oily: If you have oily skin, your face probably gets shiny throughout the day. It's not so fun. But don't be tricked into thinking your skin doesn't need moisturizer. Sometimes people with oily skin try to dry their skin out by washing their faces multiple times a day, using products with high levels of benzoyl peroxide, and not moisturizing. Even oily skin needs some lotion after a wash or else your skin will get too dry and try to produce too much oil to compensate. So you end up with even more oils on your face.

Combination: Combination is just when you have a mix of dry and oily skin. Combination dry skin tends to lean on the drier side, while sometimes having oil troubles. And combination oily skin (like me) tends to be on the oily side. Try to find products that are specifically for this type of skin. And if you can't, just try to see how your skin reacts to certain cleansers and remember to moisturize occasionally.
